#LIVESTRIKE Is Coming...

Despite what some people thought, #LIVESTRIKE was not in fact the Star Wars events that came through last week. EA Sports are still hyping it on on their social media:



So, let the speculation begin! I still feel it's some kind of live event or online content.

Looks like it'll be some sort of collaboration or use of branding judging by the blurred logo.

Edit: Doing some digging, it might be a collaboration with the Undefeated brand of clothing judging by the 5 tally marks logo

According to this page, the designer called the logo "5strikes" which is very close in sound to livestrike

I hope it's more than just player clothing. That isn't really worth a mysterious teaser a couple of weeks in the making.

Yeah I'm a little disappointed. Streetwear is cool but you don't wear that kind of stuff playing basketball.

There's a lot of things I would have rather had than this but I'm sure there was a lucrative deal in place for EA to do this

For sure, and I understand the promotional tie-ins. I don't have anything against that. It doesn't compare to a new mode, functionality, or other significant addition to the experience, though. Cosmetic content shouldn't be a priority, and like I said, isn't worth a teaser.

I'm not sure that's something they could or would add in a patch. Also assuming it needs VR equipment, it'd be wasted on me if it was.
