So true. As a SG I had a 73% shooting pct, and it was that low only cuz I would attempt a lot of 3-pointers when I wasn't going for layups. I rarely missed a layup. Inside shot % is ridiculous.

Yeah that was my strategy in live 15: drive for layup mash square

Agreed. Perhaps once the game is re-established on PS4 and X1, and starts to get back some of the market share, it will become more feasible.

So the mobile game added a three point shootout and skills challenge for All Star Weekend. Likely modes for the next full game I guess.

Those would make a welcome return. As I said in a recent Friday Five, you could even use the old mechanics; they were fun and functional.

Does 2K have a skills challenge?

2K does not have a skills challenge that I know of.

BTW, can you imagine the anger and disappointment if Live 18 is released with no Roster Editing capabilities after 2 years of production and all the complaints? And if they release the game with game modes that are basically the same?

My thought is, they CAN'T!. They can't possibly release the game with those two issues, and still expect people to be on board with them. That's why I have hope that Live 18 WILL be different. I just can't imagine them doing that after 2 years of production....

I agree. Especially since they've pushed back the early 2017 release in order to make it fully featured. Fully featured has to indeed be fully featured.

There can't be a "Next year" when it comes to roster editing in Live 18 there just can't be, it's being one of the most asked for feature since Live 14 and no disrespect to the guys who have done the rosters the last few years but it's being a little bit frustrating at times.

It's especially annoying when there's no editing allowed but then don't regularly update. Don't forget in NBA live 10 we got DAILY roster updates.

Exactly, they updated once a week and if they missed something off then you would have to wait and hope that they fixed it by the following week. Give Erika her due tho if you raised up a rating/Jersey number or transaction on twitter she would usually respond and address the issue but waiting a whole week is just too long

A week is definitely too long, especially in today's snapchat age where we get everything right away.

I don't expect we'll get absolutely everything we want in terms of roster editing and modes - ie. no Create-a-Team, and Dynasty won't have the same depth as MyGM/MyLEAGUE - but as far as getting custom rosters and more depth to the modes in general, it definitely can't be a "next year" thing.

They have to have roster editing, all of their games have it, I'm also tired of THEM updating the rosters for us, I mean, have your official rosters, but we need to be able to save ours. I know the game will have more sliders because Andrew posted that one thread about what types of sliders we wanted, but nobody responded because it was during a time where the game was dead. But we need more sliders in the game, but not too many to OD. I want to be greedy and ask for ratings editing also, because I want to personally test to see how the player speed is + dribbling when they're turned up all the way or all the way down. I want to be able to get my hands dirty with NBA Live, and I just need to tools to do it.

Absolutely. Just to clarify, when I say roster editing, I mean all that it usually entails: lineup management, player movement, ratings, positions, jersey numbers, tendencies, animations, and all other player attributes.

Not sure how official this is, but it seems that NBA Live 18 will have the WNBA in it somehow. I believe the Colin Davenport guy works for EA, and states they already did the mocap for it.

Interesting...

That is an interesting move, and it makes sense considering Fifa has women's teams now too

Would be cool to close the gap and have Dleague teams too

Guess everything has to be taken with a grain of salt for now, but definitely interesting. Bringing back All-Star Weekend would be an excellent move.

I haven't heard much about it recently. Although there is that weird side of YouTube that had videos talking about the league losing money and being a cult of lesbians.

If the rumors are true about putting WNBA players in Live that can be a good thing for exposure of the league and getting some female gamers and WNBA fans reason to try the game.

Last year's WNBA Finals concluded in pretty exciting fashion. I don't follow the league closely or anything, but I heard about the finish to the championship clinching game, and yeah, it was pretty good.
