Gotcha. :)

I've been passing along feedback so far (including the issue with Bogdan Bodganovic), so with any luck, we'll start seeing improvements.

They also need to update a few missing portraits, add Jack to the knicks add Mike James to the Suns plus tons of accessories to update

It was Friday, but then the last couple of updates have been earlier in the week, so I'm not sure now.

Face is not perfectly similar to him, but better than a black Bogdanovic.

Yeah honestly I don't know what he looks like so a generic white face could've fooled me.

I think we can take it as read that he didn't sit for a face scan, so a less than 100% accurate face is understandable...and preferable to being completely wrong, of course.

Disappointed to finally get some time to play and there isn't a roster update, no Jack on knicks no Nelson on Pelicans no James on Suns no Bledsoe trade it really is sad that they still have this same problem 4 years in after returning and missing a year.

Agreed. The updates were coming through regularly, but now it seems there's a hold up. Hopefully they start again soon.

Well, they still don't have Eric Bledsoe on the Bucks and Greg Monroe on the Suns.

I started a franchise with my Lakers, so it is really frustrating not being able to edit anything, especially since I'm set to play the Suns (game two of the season) with Bledsoe likely going to torch me.

LOL.

Other than that, rosters look pretty good. Just kind of surprising, given that it's the 12th now. And you never know if EA is going to give up or vanish again which would really suck and make this game nearly unplayable if a big trade (trade deadline is coming) goes down. It's pretty lame that you can only make a trade for your own team in franchise. At least make that mode able to have more control.

I don't even think a roster update would affect Franchise mode? Please tell me I'm wrong. And if they do affect it (which I hope they do), will moves the actual Lakers make happen for mine? Or am I immune to it?

Update: I noticed Brandon Knight was playing. I started franchise mode with "pre-existing injuries" ON, so he should be out. Dude probably won't play again, given how he keeps getting hurt teams ain't likely to take a chance. Phoenix is eating his contract this year. Also, I can't hit a 3PTer with Kyle Kuzma. This is a problem. Not sure what his skill is in the game, but he can shoot them in real life.

Roster updates affect new Franchise games, but not games already in progress, as has always been the case.

Well, dang it. I initially interpreted your message as my franchise being updated. EA did an update 11/15, but looks like for my franchise mode Bledsoe will always be a Phoenix Suns player. Crap. Sucks that I can't change this. I could restart, but I've already played two games. And then there'll likely be more trades this season too. Why would EA do that? Jeez...

Franchise mode is completely independent from the regular game

To build on that, it has to be a separate experience, since one of the concepts of franchise modes is being able to make your own trades. If updated rosters were applied to a franchise game, that would all be overwritten. You can get a new starting point when updated rosters come through, but games in progress won't be affected, because otherwise there'd be conflicting data.

What NBA Live needs to do, as it continues to expand upon the franchise experience and other modes, is to implement tools similar to MyLEAGUE where you can manage the league and make trades for other teams, for those who'd like to keep their franchise game updated according to the real NBA. It'd still have to be done manually, though.

Didn't they do this with dynamic season in live 10? I never played it because I don't care about updated rosters since I always do a fantasy draft

That was kind of the concept with Dynamic Season, yeah. You could play an entire season with dynamically changing rosters, and go back and replay games to change the result, then play through your own Playoffs according to the overall results. Nifty idea.

So are they like updating the current season statistics? Because honestly I'd rather have updated rosters than Mike breen correctly telling me a player is shooting 74% from the line instead of 70%

I'd assume it's more about ratings and Synergy data, but yeah, we need the lineups to be accurate as well.
