To use, simply drag the contents of the RAR into the NBA 2K17 main directory and place mods into the 'Modded' folder.

Thanks TBM, be sure to include the folder "clothing" in the Modded folder also.

This is where files for jersey fonts etc. go. Even though people could make it themselves, it's just more convenient if you put it in.

Is the waigua folder considered the same as the modded folder? Because I've been putting the files in there.

Limnono is the maker of this tool, he is a chinese modder which is why it was called 'waigua'.

Needed this with the shared folder

I'd like if someone could clarify me this: I'm exporting some shoe files that start with "shoes/shoe_ng_xxxxx": Should I create a "shoes" folder inside waigua o modded to be able to get these files back in right? BTW, thx for the translation TBM.

If it has shoes/ in front of it, give it a shot. Should be the right way.

Ok, thx.. also, does the shared and clothing folder go in the modded folder as well? Srry for the questions, just want to make sure they go in the right place.

For some reason when I add mods to the modded folder its not showing up in the game for me. I used the same plugin for 2k16 and those mods worked for me. Not sure whats up. Any help or advice would be muh appreciated. Thanks

Just compatible with newest version of NBA 2K17. I was having weird graphical issues with the older version.

The only thing that I don't like about this tool is that it doesn't recognize what is inside when you create the "shoes" subfolder. Basically every shoe configuration is there...

Yeah, only "clothing" and "shared" work for now. May that change at some point? Don't get your hopes up.

New version released. Incredibly important download. Tons of files now supported, including dornas and shoes. Please take the time to download/install it, as new mods that are possible won't work for you without it.
