D43 - Ultimate Fantasy Draft Roster - RELEASED - PC

So after some testing it took me 2 hours to draft my 13 players. I had 4th draft choice (fixed order) and I took the Clippers. Lakers, Celtics, Bulls were before me.

So my team is:
C: K. Abdul Jabbar/B. Laimbeer
PF: R. Wallace/L. Odom
SF: G. Hill/J. Howard/T. Kukoc
SG: Rip. Hamilton/J. Starks/ J.J. Reddick
PG: G. Arenas/R. Rubio/B. Jennings

Had few dillemas between R. Wallace/C. Webber but eventually took Sheed for his better 3-point shooting. Probably waited too long for backup PG, but Rubio should do the job with his solid defense and playmaking skills. Overall I like the team very much. I can play with stretch 4 all the time or even 5 out with Laimbeer at the Center. Off to some practice and than the first match against the Suns with Harford/Garnett/Rice/Allen/Frazier.

I love your lineup, you have slashing with Hill, a great mid range shooting lineup, and bombs with Arenas/Wallace. Having Sheed is great for a 4 out offense with that lineup because you have Kareem packing the paint. Also, keep in mind that Odom is a play initiator and can play point forward.

Pay attention to the signature shots, I spent hours watching videos to make them accurate. When you shoot with Sheed, it will look just like the real Sheed's shot.

Good luck in the first game, you might want to pressure shooters because of Ray Allen and Glen Rice lol

Yeah Sheed jump shot is perfect. Such a great feeling shooting with him. It was the first thought when i took all the players to Freestyle to get to know their jump shots. Also Kukoc can play as Point Forward, so many options with my team.

Good idea, that will take awhile to complete. But you will be able to round out the teams nicely.

Amazing roster Dee, enjoying a lot. But i see that this roster is a lot better then last year's version.
And i play at least 100 hours of that one. I can't understand how you could do a better roster than 2k16 version in less that a month. Great job, much appreciate.

Haha, I guess I'll take that as a compliment.

That roster was created much later and rushed due to the game not being good until patch 4. In my opinion, this is the best 2k ever made... and I'm a pretty harsh critic. I put the time in and attention to detail because I feel this game deserves all the attention it can get.

I'm glad you like it. My play time for NBA 2k17 on Steam says 100 hrs... I can tell you that about 80-85 of those hours has been creating the roster you are using, and working on the classic teams roster.

That doesn't even count all the time watching videos of the players shooting (and looking at pictures when videos weren't available. I love that you folks are enjoying it.

Absolutely.

PeacemanNOT is kind enough to work on a Reggie Miller, he's working on it now. Steve Nash will be soon, so will Marcus Camby.

The reason they are not in it right now is because I refused to have any fakes or created players in the roster. If you notice, all 110 new players have actual cyberfaces, they look great. The goal of this roster is authenticity for each individual player.

When I have those guys, I'll put a UFDR mod pack together with them in it, as well as other cfs created by PeacemanNOT and TBM (Carter, Hakeem, Shaq, etc) and anybody else who gives me permission.

Hi Dee, haven't played using your roster yet, been busy assigning the players to their teams to somehow come up with an "all-time" team for each franchise. The free agency pool is really packed with great players with their own CFs to boot which makes this more enjoyable. Thanks again man, hopefully I can play the roster tonight.

ALSO: There are only two players that I intended to prime that I could not because there is a glitch with changing the ages of the them, Oscar Robertson and Wilt Chamberlain. This roster is ALL about accuracy, so I wasn't about to up there ratings without updating them to an accurate age. But don't worry, Chamberlain is still 92 overall, and very dominant, and Oscar Robertson is over 90 overall as well.

So i found a "workaround" to this glitch. You likely using limnono's tool to change their ages. So i was testing trying to find a way to reduce their ages and, as you say, their ages become something crazy(58,60 years old), and not only them, that happens with a few other players, so this is how you do it:
1º - You do the normal stuff, select the player and you change their retirement age to '0' and change their birth year to 2015-(The age you want them to have).
2º - Of course when you come back to 2k17 their ages are something crazy (58, 60 years old), but if you select another player on the limnono's tool, and then come back to the original player(in the tool) you were trying to change you could see that their retirement age change to 2047 or 2007 or even 2039.
3º - You then take that number subtract for the age you want the player to have and then put the result in the birth year
4º - I'm gonna take Wilt as a example: His retirement age becomes 2047 when you try to change, lets say you want Wilt to have 22 years, so you take 2047-22=2025, then you take 2025 and put on the birth year, when you come back to the roster wilt will have 22 years.
I tested that with a number of players, including Oscar Robinson, Julius Erving, and a few others, works for every single one.
If my explanation is a little hard to understand is because is 11 pm here and i have to be up to work at 6 am tomorrow , so it may be a little complicated. Any issue with the above i try to explain better tomorrow morning.

I forgot Fisher. He will be included on the next update. Ignore luis bradshaw, he was a filler player so I could move people around easier.

I didn't touch any team specific socks or colors. That's the default game.
