I just started fooling aroudn with Limnono's a few minutes ago and loaded up a roster and to my surprise one 'Steve Nash' does appear on the list. I havn't created any players or anything like that yet, its the the base offical 2k roster file I'm looking at.

If i can manage to work out how to trade inside of Limnono I should be able to get his cyberface ID that way, I also spotted Lamar Odom on this list as well which is odd.

I have Odom.

But isn't there a tab in limnono that allows you to view the CF ID of the player once the roster is loaded? I didn't get that far...

Btw, not sure if anybody else noticed.. but they removed the 84-85 sixers from the game. However, I checked and made sure and Moses is still in the files.

Oh right, didn't think to check it like that, it shows up as 358 however applying it seems to make the player vanish.

Yeah, I had tried 358 with no luck. We should be fine once we get the input tool.

Can someone download this for second. Put it in your NBA 2K17 directory then start the game and check to see if it changes LeBron James face? I think it's the External File Plugin made by Limnono (if it is these guys work so fast):

Eh, mixed reviews. Yes, this is correct for NBA 2k17. However, I don't think it supports PNG's yet. I want to give an example. First, the good... Face.iff files WORK from NBA 2K16 in NBA 2k17, example? Bald Drexler face0777.iff that was created by TBM WORKED... success.

However... this is how Lebron came out (using the file from the download... the Lebron face)... I don't think they meant to make him look like the Hulk...

However, the PNG.iff's from NBA 2K16 just made the player vanish. Also, I tried nbaball.iff from NBA 2K16, and that also made the ball vanish... and I tried courts from NBA 2K16.. and well.. they also vanished...

So I think the tool is partially working? I think it's important that the 2k16 player PNG's work... and I think they will... but the tool needs to be tweaked?

...most probably means 2k16 and 2k17 .iff are not 100% compatible...becouse Limonon tool just swap them in memory during the game load....

Let's try this...export a court from 2k17 using greg tools...like f004.iff and rename it like f015.iff the put the file into loading plugin folder....check that ingame court is changed...

Quick tip for you guys swapping out cfs to see whats new.... If you just go to 2k store and go to head gear you can swap the cfs in the trainer and refresh by switching hats to see the newly assigned cf.

This worked in 2K16 haven't tried it in 2K17 yet.

Looks like alot of hopeful possibilities of modding could be on the horizon. Very exciting and kudos/huge thanks to all those that help bring us the tools to MOD 2k17! I haven't attempted to use the Limono tool for 2k17 yet, but I'm curious--based on what Dee4Three posted--that maybe the reason the PNGs didn't work is cause the body & heads are separate this year, since the body models are so drastically different than 2k16. Like maybe the ROSTER or Hex integers determines the body size/shape like it used to be.

Since we determined that they don't actually SCAN the bodies like they do the faces, I'd actually prefer that the bodies be determined by ROSTER or hex editing--because, I actually like the body models this year--even the ultra skinny bodies (High School Player)--however, there are many players that need to be adjusted to the correct body size/shape. It would be nice if all we had to do was enter a number to change that stuff. Of course, the best thing would be if we were able to adjust the individual attributes of the ARMS, LEGS, CHEST, etc like we used to be able to, but I'm quite sure that's not the case this year.

So I swapped CFs in Limnono's trainer and found there are many cfs that are just invisible in this game. I only swaf CF ID's, no changing of files.

also an easy way swap CFs and view them quickly is below (you will need to purchase atleast 1 my park clothing item before trying)

1. Have the Limino trainer started and activated prior to going to my career
2. Go to MyCareer in game and refresh roster in Limino's trainer
3. (a) Go To MyPlayer Inventory >>> (b) Go to MyPark Clothing
4. In Liminos Trainer activate the Large MC button (leave this activated until you are done)
5. underneath the button type in any CF ID you want to test
6. Now in game change your gear and New CF will appear

Repeat steps 5 and 6 until you are satisfied.

    Rookie CFs start at ID 7200 and end with 7254

    7200 = Ben Simmons
    7254 = Kay Felder


6170 = Justis Young (Michael B Jordan)
6172 = 2k17 HS coach
6173 = Jason Richmond (reporter)
6174 = agent
6175 = X (trainer)
6176 = myCareer ASt. Coach
6177 = Grant Alabaster (college Roommate)
6179 = Denver
6180 = college coach
6181 = Ice the Barber

I tried using the modifier to trade for Dream Team Charles Barkley but the game CTD. Has anyone tried doing this? Thanks.
