High School and Colleges should use IDs 736 - 755

Euroleague IDs range from 070s-090s

No need for donations guys. I just want to contribute to the community somehow. Besides, all the credit should go to maumau here, I am just comparing things, but only because he wrote the tutorial.

How about the default Rosters? Can you change something? Sorry I'm just busy doing my first ever Rosters...thanks...

You can change things in any roster you want. You can download the latest version of 2k official roster and tweak them as much as you want, for example. You only need to save the tweaked roster afterwards, and that's it. Just make sure you have a backup copy of a roster, if you want to edit one you already started. Just to avoid accidents.

this is a great find , seems the same old techniques from last gen will work with this gen, when it comes to hex editing. I would recommend to you Maumau78's & CarolusXCI is try to break down all 16 bytes after you find a single uniform. In last gen you would find tc1/tc2 &head band color, socks color, neck line type , unform type , uniform name , shorts length. I would help but i am on console , but its seems that everything i used to do on 360 before teaming up with vlad would still work.

i might have old notes of hex notes of bytes that might be useful , let me know it you want it.

Your hex notes were very useful when i added shoe previews and slots to nba 2k14.

Sure, that'd be helpful. When I'm searching for such things I usually look at some RedMC tabs for 2k14 rosters, just to have an idea about how the 2k guys assembled information together.

Did you ever figure out how to change the light color? I'm making a Cavs broadcast arena and on TV, it has a blue tint. The colorcorrection file from 2K16 doesn't exist in 2K17, though.

ok but did u find the jersey type s (baggy/tight/sleeveed) , neck line and shorts length. If so that great and i missed it and I won't have to dig for old notes.

Neck line and short length aren't even in memory/rosters this year. They're in text files in the jersey iffs. Way easier that way.

Tonight I'll be diving into changing team names of Euro/getting those teams to 13 player/Changing to NBA Rules.

Thank you to Peace, Carolus, and Maumau for the guidance up to this point.

Hopefully I do this right.

Isn't it exactly the thing we discovered for changing Euro to NBA rules? It seems to me that we are basically changing team types from Euro to NBA when we swap 30 to 00 (see one of my previous posts here). There are also classic teams (byte 04), MyCareer college teams (38), DLC college teams (48), High-school teams (44) and so on. I don't remember the bytes for the all-star teams, national squads and blacktop ones, but it's not hard to find either. Only a few of those will be available for play now though. So if you for example want to play with the MyCareer's Michigan State Spartans, you've got to make them play under NBA rules, which means that the shot-clock will have 24 seconds three point line drawn on the court won't be accurate. This is what I know for the moment.

Yes i know all of what u are saying. What I mean to ask is how do u convert from NBA to other tyzpe? There are so many "00" bytes for NBA team, I can't figure out which one to change.

I have already gone from euro to NBA.

Is anybody concerned about the audio? or am I jumping the gun here? So if we change Alba Berlin to the 92-93 Suns, we would want them to have the Suns audio ID, otherwise they will go into the game and the announcers will say "Alba Berlin". Correct?

Yes, that sucks. It's really hard to find which 00 is the one we have to change, but keep in mind that the byte is always located at the same place within the block corresponding to a particular team. So, for instance, if the "30" byte of an euro team is located after, I don't know, 500 bytes counting from the first letter of the team's name (which is where the block containing all info about a particular team begins), the "00" byte of an NBA team has to be located also 500 bytes after the first team's letter. I hope you get what I am trying to say here.

I like to copy and paste whole blocks from different teams to a hex editor, so that things are easier to be compared.
