Last year I didn't even like 2K16 until patch 4. The game was clunky and unplayable to me. Even after patch 4, the game didn't play even close to as good as 2k17 plays. I love this game, so I put in the work early.

This should be the only fantasy draft roster any of you will need. I am going to do the PM route again because I respect 2k and the product.

NOTE TO ALL:

I will be releasing this roster on 10/3 late in the day. I am going the PM route again. If you want the roster name to upload on Steam, you will need to PM me to request it. For those reading this post that are NOT members of the NLSC. It's free to join, just create a username and password. That way, if you want the roster, you can PM me (if you are not a NLSC member you cannot private message me).

Why am I doing this? Because 2k put out a great product, and I just want to make sure I don't step on toes. Yes this is a mod that I put close to 100 hours into, but that doesn't change the fact that 2k not only made the base PC game, but they also made a damn good one. All of the Myteam players plus around 70+ others are in my roster, I don't want to take away from 2ks myteam mode.

Also note, I am asking those who get the roster NOT to share it, because that would defeat the whole purpose. Please respect my wishes on that. If it gets shared, I will see it, and I can promise it would be the last time I make a roster like this for NLSC share.

You guys will love it, with the 90% finished roster my two brothers and I tested a draft. MY starting five was PG Iverson, SG Drexler SF Glen Rice, PF Shawn Kemp and C Mark Eaton. MY brother Mark got PG Primed Jason Terry, SG Primed Ginobili, SF Pippen, PF Nowitzki and C Yao Ming. Nick drafted PG Primed Steve Francis, SG Tracy McGrady, SF Grant Hill, PF Kevin Garnett and C Primed Jermaine O'Neal.

Could anyone point me to a simple tutorial on how to use such a roster?

Is it only usable in my league, or can it be used in quick match?

Note to all: I've been at work since 8am and wont be out until 530. Ill be releasing this roster in roughly 4 hours. I've already received double digit PM's, be patient. I have to put finishing touches on it.

NOTE: No portraits will be assigned to the players added, you may ask "why?". It's because they lose them immediately when the draft starts. You would have to use the Limnono tool every time you turn on the game to activate "Keep Portraits", and I doubt anybody wants to do that.

The cyberfaces really are good enough in this game where it doesn't hurt the experience. If somebody comes out with a work around where players will ALWAYS keep portraits, I will put all the myteam portraits in as well as some custom made ones.

ALSO: There are only two players that I intended to prime that I could not because there is a glitch with changing the ages of the them, Oscar Robertson and Wilt Chamberlain. This roster is ALL about accuracy, so I wasn't about to up there ratings without updating them to an accurate age. But don't worry, Chamberlain is still 92 overall, and very dominant, and Oscar Robertson is over 90 overall as well.

Because if it gets thousands of downloads, I think it treads on stepping on 2k's toes. Anybody else want to weigh in on this? Am I being crazy?

I know it won't reach as many people if I do the PM route... which is frustrating because of all the work... Part of me fears that someone higher up at 2k would see the roster and feel it hurts the VC purchases, and I don't want them to remove the players from the files...

I think you'd be alright. I've been publicly posting my rosters with hidden legends since 2k15 on steam and 2k forums without incident. I do, however, respect your distrust for 2k and their money grubbing tendencies, and it would not surprise me one bit if they did decided to do something like that.

It's not like that, because I would understand 2k's side as well. They put together a great game, and they keep releasing it for PC, so I can't say much about them in the negative.

I'm just trying to make sure we can hang on the some semblance of retro....

When I loaded roster to edit it there were tons of Jordan's for exmaple but i loaded up myleague and did a fantasy draft and there were no duplicates *shrug*

wow i drafted Curry/Harden/Peja/Aldridge/Gasol and i'm the 29th worst team with the 30th worst offense lol! this will be fun .. and challenging.
