Cavalier's Home Jersey Icon driving me crazy (uniform_r0100_1.iff)!!!!!

Hey everyone!

I'm having an issue that's triggering my OCD and driving me crazy, lol. Every mod I have used works perfectly, but for some reason, the cavaliers home jersey icon (the one we see when selecting uniforms) doesn't.

I've made sure that the file is there (uniform_r0100_1.iff), I've tried different mods, I have even exported the iff from the game folder and replaced the original dds image with my own, and the game just ignores the file and loads the original one no matter what i do.

It's the legit steam global version in English. I am not sure if it has something to do with my installation, so I'm posting to see if i can find a solution. The first thing i need to know is, can you reproduce this issue? Does the home jersey icon work for you (not the actual jersey during the match, just the image when selecting teams and jersey, and only for the home uniform)?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I'd love to know the solution, as I've had the same problem with other Cavs' jerseys.

You won't be able to do it if the game updated them after release.

The 3D jersey icons is one of the things you can't edit in Cheat Engine. Therefore, if the game updates it, not only will your mod not work in the modded folder, but you won't be able to find it in cheat engine to assign the file a different name in order to make it work.

Trust me, I spend days trying to change the Pelicans 3D jersey (to the 06-07 Mavs). Can't happen, I also confirmed this with a couple people via PM who are also very experienced with cheat engine.

I think you are out of luck.

Thanks both for your input! Actually, i managed to fix it, I'm enjoying the game with updated kits and icon jerseys from ama2k. The solution is in these forums actually. Look at this:

I've replaced ''uniform_xxxx'' for ''unicorn_xxxx'' LOL. The only problem is that we have to do it every time the game is updated. but i don't think that will happen often at this point with 2k17. Let me know if you need any help, otherwise moderators consider this topic solved.

This doesn't work though if you want to share a roster. The people who downloaded the roster would also have to be bypassing sync.bin.

For example, I want to release my roster update WITH the 3D jersey icon update included, but it won't work unless all the people who download my roster know how to bypass sync.bin, which is a major pain in the butt.

Yeah, that's true, but I'm just glad that at least there is a way for all the right icon jerseys to show up. If you really wanna release it to the public maybe you could include the modified sync.bin and warn people to be on the same version before replacing it, just an idea. I don't know if that's possible and the sync.bin is generic or specific to each installation. Or just a list with the changes they should make, although is a pain in the arse it's no biggie and better than nothing. Anyway, I'm just glad I got all jerseys working lol. I'd love to check your roster update too when it's ready, please do let me know. Thanks!
