Modding player icons.

I'm fascinated about an idea where players were to have their position icons over their head constantly and for the opposing players included. Usually you can get those icons above teammate's heads when going into icon pass mode, but it would tremendously increase a players ability to be able to react and pass more quickly and better to find the open man. Anyone with more knowledge/experience has any idea if anything like this could be done in a game like 2k17?
It would basically be a visual mod with some kind of way to recognize what player is @ what position.
