How do you create face textures?

So what i'm doing is creating face textures in .dds format DXT5 for the color and palette 8 bpp for the detailnormal map but nba 2k explorer seems to be not showing these at all, what am I doing wrong?

from my experience the 2kexplorer is only used really for viewing things or exporting out in game files. I have not had great luck importing anything really it's best to just place all your files together in a folder then archive/zip it up and just change .zip to .iff and place into modded

if you were talking about the side preview of models you right click and click parse model on the file for it to show up in preview

Thanks, but when I do that the model seems to be not loading at all when I load the game.
