Arcade style sliders?

Sat Oct 29, 2016 7:15 am

Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help me out. I'm looking for some advice or a guide on how to set user/cpu sliders so that the gameplay is more like NBA Live 2003 or 2004. I've played with the sliders a bit, but I'm having trouble finding a good in-between with shot success and defensive strength. Seems like either 90% of shots go in or the defense is a bit too strong making it play like default. I'm trying to get a high tempo/high scoring style of gameplay with lots of dunking and threes.

If you have any advice, I'd love to hear it. I've tried google and I haven't really found anything helpful.

Most slider sets are based around improving realism or increasing challenge, so I'm not surprised your searches have turned up empty. There's value in having some casual/arcade style sliders though, so perhaps we can come up with something.

What kind of changes have you made so far?

Try mine, ArcadeNation on all platforms.

The key is to lower the sliders for collisions and in tendencies raise attack the basket and attempt 3s, and 0 out everything else.

Mine are based on the default Superstar set, so everything this frees you up to do, the CPU will do it to you as well.

Feel free to use mine as a base then adjust and reupload under your own name.
