I have the digital download on my PS4, but I don't have the 1992 Dream Team. What's more, the 2016 Olympic Team had been in the game, along with the Australian national team. Both were playable in Play Now. But now both teams have mysteriously vanished!! When I first played the game last night both teams were there and playable. But when I played this morning I noticed that both teams had disappeared from the Play Now list. And, of course, still no Dream Team. I was wondering if anyone else had encountered this issue.

That's really weird. Did you get an email when the game was ready to pre-load that might have included a Locker Code? With physical copies of NBA 2K17, it's on a sheet of paper in the box; with the PC version, you receive a Locker Code along with the Steam key. It seems logical that digital copies on console should have also received a Locker Code at some point. Maybe get in touch with Sony or 2K Support? You definitely should've received something there.
Those two teams disappearing is concerning though. Not sure what to suggest there, unless you're willing to reinstall it, which of course means downloading it all over again.

Thanks for the advice. I did not receive any e-mails prior to the game's release. But I just visited the 2k forums, apparently a lot of others are having similar problems. 2k Sports says they are aware of the problem and are working on a solution.

As frustrating as issues like this are, it is nice to know that you're not alone. It always seems more likely that there'll be a solution when it's a widespread problem. Here's hoping for the best!

I figured it out. You have to enter your steam CD key (the activation key) as the locker code, including the dashes. It worked for me, I have the 92 dream team now.

Separate issue, but unpacking the game I PRELOADED has taken forever. In my frustration, I'm reinstalling Steam...ugh. Seems like 2K always screws the PC launch

I JUST TRYED BOTH CODES. GAME AND DLC CODE, NEITHER IS WORKING TO UNLOCK THE DLC STUFF.

I uninstalled and then re-installed the game on my PS4. The missing teams returned, but still no Dream Team. However, 2K Sports says they are working on a patch for console users that should fix the problem.

i cant find the thread about. what just related to the console or is this an issue a cross platform matter. i wrote in above most about codes and im pc.

as anyone continued to ave iss issues wth using there dlc code. im still having this problem and i believe im putting exactly i have have it. just a ? is there way to past code into the locker? if there i want try that and if if im not manually putting the code right for some reason.

does anyone know if the issue with the lcoker codes not work is going on? as oas of now i cant my working and emailed the vender and ive requested a teciket twith wih 2k about it, but ive no heard back from either of them its been rougly 10 days since i did that?
also is ther a way to paste the code in. im sure im putting it right, but this would be the 100percet way to varify that is still not working if i could paste it

I don't believe copy/paste works with Locker Codes, but it's admittedly been a while since I tried it. I don't think that's the solution, though. It would appear to be a widespread problem that 2K have acknowledged, so it seems unlikely that everyone is simply making an error in entering the code. I'd keep hitting up the vendor and/or 2K Support about it until you get a satisfactory answer and solution.
