Usually doesn't drop to this level for a month or two after release. Bought 2k16 from them last year and they treated me right. Got the code a few days before retail release and also the VC. Although 5000 VC is practically nothing.

The key they sent me in my e-mail does not work to activate the product on Steam. Is this because the game isn't ready for download/released yet or did I get screwed???

The game doesn't come out until September 20th. It's way too early to pre-load. I'm surprised you actually got a key this early, since the game wouldn't even be finished yet.

The key you got might be for the 35,000 VC preorder bonus for 2K16. I think you redeem it in-game. Options Menu, then Locker Codes.

I'm traveling over the weekend and hoping that one of the guys who made pretty good 2016 draft classes for PC will upload a roster file with the rookies added sometime this weekend.

I always get my biggest franchise itch during the summer after the finals end, and PC is always slimmer pickings than consoles.

Not sure why so few sports gamers coincide with PC gamers. This game looks great in 1440p at high frame rates with a good GPU.

On the topic of rosters, for the love of God when will they make a feature allowing you to export the players from a draft class file to the free agent pool? I always hate waiting this time of year for new rosters with the rookies.
