By the looks of it there are only 2 licensed International teams.... that isn't to say there could be unlicensed international teams for MyCareer, kind of like how FIFA does their international teams.

It's funny because I recognise a couple of the players in the photo from all the Olympic mod editing, even through the created players.

I think it's pretty obvious that their current face scanning technique is pretty damn good, as you can see with most of the new rookies. It just seems that a big percentage of active players don't get rescanned regularly, which makes for some inconsistent quality throughout the game.
I agree that their newest players look great. Dunn, Hield, etc.
If they could scan their actual bodies and have that represented in the final 3D model, there'd be zero complaints left when it comes to player likenesses. I reckon we'll get there with time.
