I got my cd key too, about 30 mins ago. I can confirm the preorder bonuses are activated in game via locker code.

Just pre-ordered and got it for €39. I activated it on my alt account just in case. Pre order content comes as a separate locker code, so if you've only gotten one code you've probably bought the game without any pre order content.

I heard from a reliable friend that preload is on for real, 53.8 GB. In the mean time, 2K still hasn't distributed their keys.

Nobody really knows but I'm expecting it to unlock at either 6am or 9am tomorrow. I highly doubt we'll get a European midnight release.

Last year I purchased 2k16 on PS4 and I was able to play the game after midnight if I remember correctly.

For the last couple of years, the game unlocked @exactly 21:00=9pm (time zone -> UTC +02.00).

Its currently 20:26/8:26pm here, so I am expecting the game to be unlocked in at least 24hours and 34minutes , and ideally within 20hours and 28minutes when I'm back home from work

Finally pre-ordered NBA 2K17 and instantly recieved the key. DLC content (Dream Team, VC,..) is unlockable via locker code in-game if not purchased directly from steam. (they send 1 steam and 1 DLC key)

As stated above preload size is only 109 MB. I wrote to gaming dragons about this issue and this is the reply I got.

The preload process has nothing to do with us as its solely provided by Steam servers.
The game should be playable on the 16th.
If you think that this is a technical issue please contact Steam support.

Below is the version I purchased. But watch out, other version is 3 eur cheaper and does not include early tip-off bonus DLC and should be available on 20/9.

So I have question, why did you purchase from the 2K Store anyways? Why not purchase through Steam?

$10 AUD cheaper. 2K Store offered the pre-order in AUD, whereas Steam is only in USD.

However, I've got the key now after logging in with the order number, and I've activated it on Steam without problems. Let the pre-loading begin, I suppose! Tracking my order of the PS4 version with the courier, it should also be here today, so I should have that to play while the PC version pre-loads if it comes to that.
