1. In the videos, I am seeing some of the same crappy AI defense where the players do not seem to be reacting to ball/surroundings well at all. This makes me think once again that we are going to have the same issues of being able to dribble with one player all the way up the sideline/to the baseline, take that wide turn and just get a layup. I saw nothing in the notes on the other thread (that was just posted stating what 2k tried to improve on) about improving the defensive AI, which was a HUGE problem last year. This includes the issues of players getting backdoored far too easily (apparently everyone is James harden) and players just losing their assignment randomly.
2. I've already seen a couple body steals and really strange contact animations in the few minutes of video, which was another big problem from last year not mentioned in 2ks improvement discussion. PGS easily being able to block centers and just overall (body blocks) was another huge issue. It's not mentioned.
3. The animations look a bit herky jerky.. kinda like when we had the original download with no patches for the PC version.
4. Those high school body types have to go.. wow... they don't look human.
5. I Saw in the other post they mention fixing the rebounding.. I thought the rebounding was the strongest, possibly most realistic portion of NBA 2K15 and 2k16. Why is this being mentioned when all the other more important fixes are needed?
Positives
1. Lighting, looks great even with the ghetto gameplay footage.
2. I love the stat overlay with the player body portrait, and how it's disconnected from the scoreboard. Good touch.
Again though, this is really about GAMEPLAY.... and so far there is no mention about those important gameplay issues being addressed. We shouldn't have to wait 4-6 months for a patch to make the game playable (or enjoyable ). Last year, I wasn't even able to really get into the game until patch 4.
GAMEPLAY IS WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT. That is why NBA 2k14 for PC still gets so much love and play.

You thought rebounding was a strong point in these last 2? There was never a battle it seems like 95% of the time someone will grab the rebound and it never gets tapped around or something. I also dont understand why people hate "body steals" I like it, stops people from abusing dribble moves all the time.

Body steals are not just on dribbling, when it happens on dribbling it's sometimes justified. However it happens all the time when a player merely brushes up against another player, and they just drop the ball. That is NOT realistic, because NBA player has a much better grip on the ball. (Christ, those body steals NEVER hapeen in the men's leagues I play in where players hands are much worse)
Also, offensive e rebounding was overpowering in past 2ks, however in 2K15 and 16 it was more balanced. That's what I was getting at.
Also, no comments about the horrible defensive AI? This was the biggest problem imo.
