Buying NBA 2K17. Is it really worth it?

Well, it's Black Friday. That means one thing.

All the game on Steam is on discount. Including NBA 2K17.

As someone who usually plays NBA 2K17 on my brother's console (or sometimes my friend's), i'm really considering to buy NBA 2K17 for my PC. But.. is it really worth it?
All the negatives review on Steam is really bothering me. All the review is basically the same, saying NBA 2K17 is the best basketball game, but online is really suck because of all the cheaters in MyPark.

I don't really care about MyPark though. I want to play MyCareer and MyTeam.


Well, since NLSC is my source for all things NBA games, all i want to ask is, what's your opinion on NBA 2K17? Is it really worth your money? Triple A games is very expensive in my country, and this is my only chance to get it at a lower pirce, that's why i'm a bit hesitating.

So, i want your complete and honest review about NBA 2K17, especially on the online features. Thank you, and sorry for my bad english!

NBA 2K17 is a great game. I would highly recommend it if you're looking for an offline experience. Modding and such can make the game much more visually pleasing and allows you to get under-the-hood if you so choose. The problem is that you're looking to play MyTeam and the PC version will frustrate you when it takes minutes (or hours) on end to find a match. It's a nightmare for me, but perhaps that could also be because I live on the west coast and matchmaking is more difficult.

Good luck on making the right choice, but I would keep my expectations low when it comes to online matchmaking.

Western PC games has been utterly shit this year due to feminism / SJW being shoved to our throats by developers
NBA 2k17 is the only western title I have on my PC right now and earlier this year Doom.

So why not. There's no good western PC releases scheduled by December / January

Game play has improved dramatically. But get into it with your eyes wide open because, the user defense is broken, and needs to be fixed. Guarding shooters behind screens is impossible, and the contested 3 pt shot, and players staying with their man on defense is non-existent.

noped not if you getting it for online, servers are very bad, and my career mode keeps crashing even after verifying my cache, tons of server issues..offline in season is fine vs cpu.

Not worth it for me. Even tempted to get a refund but keeping it for the collection. Shitty online experience and there's almost no improvement gameplay-wise. The modding community makes it bearable for me to at least open the game from time to time.

Don't buy if you come from NBA2k16. Literally everything is the same except a update user interface.
