So they sent you a new code that works for US or North America? If so, did they email it to you? I already got my refund, but I'm curious how they're handling the situation since they were pretty cooperative during the whole mess up of region locked codes.

Cdkeys send a new working code for my region.
But no preorder DLC.
Cant complain much for such a cheap price and they handled the whole situation really well to be honest.
Will definitely support them again.

yes they sent me a new code, after i said the key wanst working and asked about what going on by email. i ordered before it was listed as eu. i dont if that helped. the 10th.
i do have a dlc code, but that working. and others have said there's issue there with 2k with that.

Btw, I have just received an e-mail from Gamingdragons saying that their version is region-free. They are selling the game for 40 bucks, so still a great price I would say. Here is the mail:

Activates everywhere but the US. I would like to get a little something off the price, 60 bones is a lot, for just the basic version. Bummer... You get a decent price, but it's not available states side.

I've been looking for a site since early tip-off and still haven't found anything. Considering that today's the official release date, I hope some sites begin getting US region Steam codes or GMG offers a discount on the regular edition soon.

Maybe there are no discounts for US IPs? Don't know what to say, I still see those prices.

It does seem as though the current GMG discounts are non-US only. There was a thread posted on the NBA 2K Reddit earlier today. I'm sure it'll come back soon, but not soon enough.
