Petition to change the VC System of the NBA 2k Series

Hey guys,

since I'm banned for life from OS I only read on there but I actually found a decent thread over there that I'm surprised they let stand: http://www.operationsports.com/forums/n ... 2048471928

It's basically a back and forth between guys, like me, who think the whole VC thing is a ripoff and the game is intentionally designed towards making you want to buy VC and the guys who say it's a legit way to do business etc. Either way I'm surprised it was left standing since OS is well known for being the loverboys of 2k and their devs who contribute on there regulary so something like this is fairly unique. What is more unique is how long the discussion went on and how respectful it was kept. It's really worth a read tbh. Anyway at one point or another someone suggested starting a petition after a possible female user contributed quite a good and long post on the whole issue. She took it upon herself to write the whole thing up and post it on change.org. It's incredibly long but the points she makes are good ones so maybe give it a read and sign it if you like. I did. Hence why I'm doing what she's asking and spreading the word about it:

HAHA, good luck with that. That's like starting a petition to ask 2K to give the game away for free every year.

VC is a cash cow for them. Mycareer, Mypark, and Pro-am are unplayable for the first 4 months without it.

Well a shirtstorm can stir up a lot and tbh why even bother posting if you don't even have the energy to sign an online petition? It's not like it's costing you anything but still you are unwilling to click two buttons and you are the one telling me good luck? Honestly I know it won't change anything but why the hell not just sign? Who cares? And who knows if a couple of hundred people sign and share it you might actually find a youtube reviewer talking about it...

I shoot start a petition to remove the song "Creator" by Santogold. Why they used this again, no clue. But it wasn't even a great track the first time.

The only petition that can force a change in microtransactions is if players stop buying them.

2k probably made a million bucks on the console prelude before the game came out.

Think of it as 2k or as a business. Why would you do this?

They are smart and as long as kiddies(most likely grown ass man) still have their parents credit card, money will continue to pour in with VC.

The Only thing you can do is not buy the game. VC and micro transaction is 2k's choice to put in the game, just like every other game with DLC add on.
