Using DS4Windows causing issues.

Fri Sep 23, 2016 3:55 pm

So using DS4Windows (xbox controller emulator) makes the game think there are 2 users connected to the game and makes the game unplayable.

Using default DS4 just plug and play works but then there's no vibration! So either way it's a lose-lose. Anyone know an alternative fix here?

Hey I found the fix to this just in case anyone was curious or whatever.

Just open up DS4Windows and go to Settings and click "hide ds4 controller"

Then voila can use the DS4 and get the rumble feature. Of course it will show xbox inputs instead of sony ones but actually i kind of prefer that lol.

NBA 2K17, 2K16 and 2K15 auto detect dualshock 4's, no need to use any external software such as DS4windows with it.

I use Wireless, blue tooth.

You can just turn it on and load up 2k and it will work natively but you will not get rumble (as is the case with any native DS4 game I have tried on PC).

DS4Windows makes it emulate an xbox controller, and therefore supports rumble. Also has other neat little things like making the track pad act as a mouse, so I always prefer using it personally.

Yes but you miss out on the features I mentioned above :)

Ah yes, my apologies. I'm using an older version of DS4windows but under the settings tab there should a box labeled "hide ds4 controller", I know checking it will resolve the double input problems but I"m not sure if it will continue the functionality of the rumble/trackmousepad features.
