Errors and Problems thread

Sorry to be the guy who starts off listing problems on Day 1 but it may be good to start a thread to let the 2K devs know if something isn't working right in the game.



I'll start:


1) the knocked ball out of bounds problem is back - I knocked the ball out of the offensive player's hands and it was my possession. It looked like I clearly knocked it out. Happened twice so far.

2) Cannot connect to network features such as VC store. Getting error code: 96064c5a. Also, when joining park I always join the empty one and when trying to play with friends it says someone of us is out of sync. Based on similar threads you might start thinking I got banned for cheating or something like that, but I've never done that and in fact I've been playing 2k16 3days ago

3) The head of MyPlayer lacks reflections and appears in a different color. (The PC version) The only place where it looks normal is the appearance editor. Everywhere else the skin tone is completely different than the tone of the body. Also happens to all of the other players on MyPark. Every other player in the game appears fine. Pictures included - 1, 2.

Ditto to #3, I started to notice it in 2K16 about a month back with my character basically having an entirely matte skin on his face and neck that doesn't match the rest of his body, doesn't get sweat on his face etc. Everyone else looks fine, though. Now it's present in 2K17 as well and it's driving me crazy with how wonky he looks during games and especially in cutscenes. In the MyPlayer generator the faces look fine, but the create a player option has the bug present in the generator as well.

Seeing as it's now been present in 2 iterations of the title and is so weirdly specific to only the face skin texture and only on player created characters, I'm starting to very much doubt that it's a driver / settings / corrupted game data issue, but I've gone through the entire circus of updating drivers and verifying the game cache anyway, with no luck. The only other thing that springs to mind is that it's some sort of problem with how all of your shit is stored on the 2K servers. I've put in a support ticket about it, hope they've got an idea.

Yea noticed it in 2K16 a couple weeks back as well, didn't bother to report it or look for a solution since 2K17 was close to release. Wrote support as well, hopefully they will do something about it.
