Jersey font

How to edit jersey font numbers, letters? For example I download some "clothing_resource_uXXXabc_current_home_font" that is already made for 2k17, rename it for example "clothing_resource_u001mil_current_home_font" and paste but in game this jersey is still with old font...why?
