If they pay me well, i'll also delete all the projects from my pc :D

@Dee4Trhee
You will be able to change team names, pretty hard to clone teams, although i think there is some space for that. I'll have to test that as well.

Amazing... thank you so much.

When you find out if this could be done, please let us know. Its important for myself and many people in the modding community... It would allow us to add MANY new classic teams without replacing. It would be huge!

Thank you again for all your amazing work, you as well TBM.

Ill get you the CF list when its finished

One question will we be able to import the edited cyberface models back into the game after you make the game read them externally?

Greg thanks for details. Last question. Will you try to implement possibility of assigning cfs? Jerseys? Logos?

Of course there will be one, but not in the near future at least. Christmas sounds a good time :D

skoadam wrote:Greg thanks for details. Last question. Will you try to implement possibility of assigning cfs? Jerseys? Logos?

Jersey's and Logo's since they are just referenced by iff name, i think they will be easy to do. I've already mentioned that. Cf's though, there is no point swapping cf's between the players, because every player has he's own model. So model and Cf's go together and that is controller by the modelId, which of course you will be able to change.

DJDreamPhase wrote:One question will we be able to import the edited cyberface models back into the game after you make the game read them externally?

If i ever manage to make the game read files externally, you won't have to import anything back. Edit an iff in the iff editor, put it in the 2k16 directory and boom you're ready. There will be no need for extra repacking, no need for doing all that mess that needs to be done now in order to get a file back into the game...

@Dee4Three

I think i didn't comment yesterday about the CF list. The question is if you all want it not if i want it. I can assemble a full player list by team with any info you want in there. So let me know if you need anything like this

One quick question: Any sign of possibility to put entirely new CF this year? For example, Reggie Miller (He's not in the game files)

Oh okay. PortlandBlazer and I will release the list anyway, a lot of people will want it. The jerseys/logos thing is super exciting. It would be awesome to be able to clone a team and replace that teams logo with a custom one (like the 90's Suns logo). Im still waiting for a tool similar to the chinese trainer that will allow Portrait importing and swapping :)

I really hope someone will upgrade the faces of those classic players...I won`t expect most of the players in the classic teams have a realistic looking face, but at least the top 2 to 3 stars in a team deserve a better/ realistic face.....

Also, anyone know how to change shoes of different brands (e.g. Air Jordan > Nike) inside the game? :?:

I hope it's possible to remove Moses Malone's goggles. I don't know why 2k now thinks he wear it in Philadelphia

Faces that will need serious attention:

Iverson - His hair is grey and his face is to thin... looks dumb with a headband
David Robinson - He looks like a fish, horrible. They have been using the same horrible David Robinson for years... he also needs a shave
Michael Jordan - He looks crazy, gotta be a way to take the crazy look away
Bill Russell - Would have to be a complete overhaul, what were they thinking? Looks nothing like him
Wilt Chamberlain - He looks like a cartoon...
Hakeem - His face on Last gen 2k14 actually looked better. The one in 2k16.. his face looks dirty and his eyes are too small
Nick Van Exel - Look at the size of his cheeks... jesus... that's not even close
Kendrick Perkins - Facial Hair needs to be removed for the 07-08 Celtics... that is not accurate at all

That's off the top of my head. I know some of these may be impossible without full modding capabalities.... but hopefully a few of these can be fixed....

I agree, this gray hair on Iverson is horrible, really noticeable. I try to not get bother with it, but it's impossible. About Wilt, I'm not bothered that much with his face, but I wanted a 60s version of him, no sideburns and no headband

Yeah, TMac, Vince Carter look bad. Oh can't forget about Frobe. It's old Kobe's face with afro. Looks awful. Lets just agree that pretty much every legend needs major work except Michael Finley from what i can recall. Finley actually looks spot on. Nash doesn't look bad either.

Michael Finley's face is spot on. Grant Hill is the best in the whole game IMO. Id love a 60's Wilt.... Carter could def be fixed because his head shape is perfect, its the face itself. Tmac looks FAR better even in last gen 2k14... it doesn't even look like TMAC in 2k16

For VC, I already made a better one for him. It's his current face with the beard removed:

These are 2K15 screenshots, but it'll be identical in 2K16. No headband of course.

The Skin is too dark for Vince Carter. Grant Hill is in the game? And you say he looks amazing? They usually make him look pale white. BRB i have to go see. Had no idea he's in the game!

Okay, i just looked through all the retro teams and free agency and i don't see where Grant Hill would be. Is there something wrong with my roster? What team would he even be on? I don't see any of his teams. What am i missing here?

With Limnono Trainer you can use him whenever you want by overwriting a created player you place on a roster or anybody else. You just have to do his ratings etc. Im using him in myleague, exhibition etc
