Usually playing through the main showcase mode, or the "unlock everything" DLC, if you're impatient and have a couple of bucks to spare.

I've been that impatient gamer with a few bucks to spare.

So ridiculous that 4 horsewomen aren't in the game and won't be DLC. Sasha was even scanned for god's sake

My copy arrived last Friday, and I've mostly been playing through the 2K Showcase. On one hand, it's kind of a shame that it's completely Stone Cold-centric, though it makes sense with him being on the cover. It's well done though, and it reminds me of the Jordan Challenge in NBA 2K11, so it's definitely not all bad.

I like the limited amount of reversals, it's implemented well as far as being able to recharge them. Reversal timing feels a bit off at times, but I could just be a bit out of practice. I didn't play a lot of WWE 2K15 as I found it underwhelming, so maybe it's just rust and impatience on my part. I still don't much care for the the chain wrestling mini-games (though they are a bit better this year), and I'm really not a fan of the new submission system. I feel the CPU is a bit cheap with that. In fact, if I had to pick the most disappointing aspect of the game so far, it's that the CPU is - after all these years - still prone to being very cheap with reversals, submissions, and the like. On the plus side, the new kick-out controls are better, or at least, more to my taste.

Despite some annoyances with CPU cheapness, I'm actually liking it a lot more than 2K15. It might not be a big enough improvement for some, but for me it feels like a significant step up from last year, so I am happy about that. Only having the one showcase and more content coming through paid DLC is a bit on the nose though. It also looks like the pre-order Terminator bonuses are on the disc; even though I didn't pay any extra for them, that always feels like dirty pool, too.

after posting i noticed i could just unlock everything for 2 bucks so i just did that. spent the first day just setting up my universe. does the universe mode go more than just the one year? also really sucks that i cant put the belt on the line during raw or anything. i also wish i could just "retire" wrestlers i dont want to use. i already made them have no show but they are still select able when i edit matches and i wish i could just remove them from the mode completely

a few times the game has announced one wrestler but had another come down to the ring which i found funny. over all i am really enjoying the game. it has enough old school wrestlers to make me actually care about the game which is nice and the action is fun. i have enjoyed both universe and mycareer mode equally though i have spent much more time during universe mode. i currently have all the retired wrestlers plus a few of my favorite current wrestlers on raw with an equal amount of the rest on smackdown. i think its 40/40 not using divas. anyway its fun so far

Nice. I knew I held off getting the DLC for the PS4 version for a reason. With a GMG coupon, I think I'll double-dip.

It's out today. I'll still probably pick it up, but I think I'll wait for it to go on sale. A few bills to pay, and whatnot.

Anybody make mods to put the three women who fought for the Women's title at WM in the game?

not as simple as NBA 2K16 modding with file replacing, but someone is making a tool that will make the process easier.

TBH, I just use the CAS ones via community creations.

Went ahead and picked it up. Why not treat myself, this weekend?

Of course, the Steam download speed suddenly dropped to 20 kB per second, which doesn't help.

or create an entrance?

no and yes

I just load up and do tournaments or a quick random match, haven't really gotten into it too much, PS4 or PC.
