Well the Germans are steamrolling Brazil and it is still the first half.

I love how Brazil created so much "hatred" that even us (the Dutch) are heavily cheering for Germany! 0-5, I am loving it! Especially the shots of the crying Brazilian supporters.:applaud:

Can't believe what I just witnessed during the 1st half. I feel a bit sad for Brazil. We lost the semi final when we had the world cup at home in 2006.

If this 0-7 score stands till the end it will be Brazil's biggest defeat and it is in a World Cup semifinal in their home soil. Damn, the Brazilian fans are now mocking their own team.

Chelsea must be laughing so hard right now at PSG. 50 million for a defender that can't defend.

If Muller scores in the final he will be level with Hames on 6 goals. Only Messi can really challenge those two for golden boot now.

Brazil lost it, that happens.

Michael Jordan lost three series against Detroit until being GOAT,
Kobe lost two finals, one by a Boston blow out! Magic Johnson too! Even Lebron this year, San Antonio won it by a twenty point margin...

So if those guys lose it so bad, i am not ashamed at all, despite these, Magic said once and i agree... "Don't matter with you got lost by one or twenty, it's still one, one."

The best soccer team ever, lost it, in 1982 Brazil lost with the best soccer team that ever been assembled, and so what? That's a team sport and very unfair one sometimes, that's why it's so great too, because it's unpredictable.

AND WE GONNA STILL BEING FIVE TIME WORLD CHAMPS!
AND UNTIL 2022 IF GERMANY WIN NOW OR ITALY WIN THE NEXT WORLD CUP, NO ONE WILL SURPASS US YET!!!

WHAT A TRAGEDY!!! :facepalm2: :-D

Finally, my congrats to Germany for the great "brazilian style" type of playing touching the ball like we used to do at past, great team, great win and good luck at the Final against Holland or Argentina. They really, really deserved for being a nice team with people around here, and for playing a non selfish type of football.

Show must goes on... and the jokes that i saw here came from you and made me laugh...
We must learn to win and lose with class.

Germany clearly used up the semi finals goal allowance in their game.

I look forward to the "Messi > Maradona" debate that will surely happen if Argentina win.

Oh, and what a tackle by Mascherano to save the game. Especially after his head clash earlier in the match.

JUST TO REMEMBER...

CHUCK DAILY'S DREAM TEAM IN BARCELONA IN 1992, THE GREATEST TEAM EVAR ASSEMBLED, LOST THR FIRST GAME (PRACTICE, BUT SCORED AND MADE LIKE A REGULAR ONE) TO THE NBA ROOKIES, THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN USA TEAM AT THE '92 OLYMPICS.

NO ONE, NO WHERE IS INVENCIBLE, OR INDESTRUCTABLE, THAT'S AN ILUSION.
HOLLAND PLAYS A LITTLE BETTER, BUT ARGENTINA COOKED THEM AT DEFENSE AND DESERVE IT AT THE END OF THE GAME.

Now the Final, it's a tough match, Germany have favoritism, but again sulamericans can beat europeans, and at Maracanã, few yards from my home, i can post pictures if you guys want it to. The argentinian crowd will support the team from minute 0' til minute 90'.

Germany forces are their great midfielders, and Argentina have the best player of the World, Messi. It's the colective game against the individual game battle!

Enjoy it!!! (Y)

Some choice words from Holland manager Van Gaal...

You need to score the first one and I asked two players to take the first ball before ending up with Vlaar.
...
It's a very humiliating question to be asked who the players were.'
Argentina goalkeeper Sergio Romero once played for him at AZ Alkmaar

I taught Romero how to stop penalties, so that hurts.

Dutch players choking confirmed.

I'm a bit relieved that Germany will not have to play against the Netherlands. The Dutch showed up strong for the better part of the world Cup, while Argentina didn't had too many convincing performances.
I expect the Netherlands to finish third and I really hope Germany will win the cup...

I stand by my prediction earlier Germany will get the fourth star on their crests. I see Brazil and Netherlands going in extra time and maybe penalties with the Dutch winning third place.

How exactly is that chocking? And how did you confirm it? It's van Gaal's fault to ask Vlaar to take the first penalty, a defender doesn't take the first penalty period. Also, leaving Cilessen in, a keeper who hasn't stopped a single penalty in his career is stupid. van Gaal should have saved a substitute and put either Krul or Vorm in.

Everyone in Holland is quite pleased with the result. Not many people expected a squad with this many Eredivisie players do even make it through the group stage.

Dutch fan butthurt confirmed.

Van Gaal said it in an interview. You can Google it if you want.
Van Gaal asked two players to take the first penalty but they refused, choking, plain and simple.

I'm butt hurt? I'm not actually, the complete opposite. I'm just asking how an outsider like yourself can confirm without a shred of doubt that the Dutch players chocked. Judging by your childish reaction, you can't.

I never denied that that happened, but that doesn't mean the Dutch chocked. There was an order, van Persie was #1 on the list. He was substituted, and the players van Gaal asked were comfortable at the position they were at. Which is understandable considering how the last penalty shootout went, athletes tend to be quite superstitious.

I could ask the same thing about you being an outsider like yourself believing that the players didn't choke by avoiding what their manager asked them to do in order for a chance to win instead of your assumption of superstitious reason.

If going by your "outsider" logic, who are you to question Van Gaal's selection of Vlaar for the first shot? You're not part of the team, how can you legitimately question the manager's decision making process at that exact moment when you're not part of the team?

See how silly that sounds.

Bottom line Van Gaal asked two players to take the first shot because he thought it was the best plan for their chance of winning but they declined, that's enough for me to call it a choke.

I never presented my opinion as a fact, unlike yourself. They didn't avoid anything. Avoiding would imply they were told to do something, and you yourself said they were asked. So they were given the option to decline.

I'm not questioning anything. Simple unwritten rule in football is that you don't let a defender take the first penalty when you are taking the first penalty in the series. Unless that defender is your "can't miss" penalty taker. Vlaar is the complete opposite of that, he's only ever taken one (now two) penalty in a regular game in his entire career. There are players who simply aren't comfortable taking the first penalty, that has nothing to do with choking. The chocking started at kick off when both teams decided to play for a penalty shootout.

You really make it seem like the Dutch have hurt you in the butt.

lol semantics, seriously?
They were asked. They declined.
Simply put they didn't want or avoided the responsibility of taking the crucial first shot.
Still sounds like choking to me.

Choking still confirmed.

Dutch fan still can't get over the loss confirmed.

They should have had Dirk Kuyt take the first penalty. He never misses.

I don't understand why Krul wasn't the starting keeper for the Dutch anyway. But maybe that's just because I watch the Premier League and not Eredivisie.
