Mitt Romney has selected Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin to be his vice presidential running mate, GOP sources told POLITICO.

Other news organizations, including NBC News, CNN, and Associated Press also reported the selection of Ryan, the seven-term lawmaker best-known for his controversial plans to overhaul Medicare.

Romney is set to unveil his ticket Saturday morning in Norfolk, Virginia

In my opinion, Ryan is a terrible pick as far as winning the election goes. While Ryan may be the only person on the VP short list that Romney would actually get along with, he doesn't really get him any new voters.

VP's are actually kinda overrated in that regard. They're mostly about keeping party factions together.

http://www.gameranx.com/updates/id/9348 ... -ea-games/

U.S. President Barack Obama will be featured in advertisements across multiple EA games on different platforms, the most popular of which being in Madden NFL ‘13. You'll also see the ads in mobile game classics like Battleship, Tetris and Scrabble and casual games on Pogo.com.

"EA accepts advertising in our games from credible political candidates, similar to a TV, radio or online channel," the EA rep. told GamePolitics. "The ads do not reflect any political policy for EA."

Anybody need any help with finding out ballot/voting stuff? Not just for President of course.

It's the best way to find hilarious pictures from obscure candidates:

All your toss-ups are going Obama.

Which should mean about a 2 point victory for Obama in the popular vote. Hopefully it'll be 49-47-3. 48-46-5 would be epic.

Has anyone here said why they are going to vote for Romney? I've tried to find a reason someone would vote for him. Only thing I could think of is wanting the element of surprise by what has Romney flip flopped on today.

Why would anyone vote for Romney or Obama?

I mean, I can't vote for the best candidate on the ballot (THANKS GOP) but people in the 48 civilized states can. (Oklahoma is just a no-go zone for sane parties so that's a given.)

But to answer your question in a serious manner, it's mostly because they want rid of Obama, like all sane people, but they're deluded into thinking there's only one other option and thus, Romney.

Why vote for Obama? Well, after seeing what an atrocious candidate and man Mitt Romney is, I decided to vote for Obama (I'll never forgive myself!) as an anti-Romney vote. With his atrocious foreign and social policies, Obama really is the lesser of two evils in my opinion.

It just kind of sounds fun to vote for a partisan in my first presidential. Not like it matters anyway.

As bad as Mitt Romney is, at least he hasn't murdered any Americans without due process, raided legal medical marijuana joints, shipped batches of illegal guns to Mexican drug gangs, stolen assets from shareholders to benefit political cronies, signed and defended the NDAA, involved us in more undeclared wars, etc.

I can guarantee you that Mitt Romney will not do any of these things for at least three months.
