Creative needs to make a storyline out of Jay Hatton, then Jae Hatton will debut to settle who's the real Jae Hatton.

I had a good laugh at the Jay Hatton guy during the show. too funny. some skinny wimpy dude.

A few good spots in the show. i was impressed with the big show tossing Rhodes into the table on the outside. he managed to land right on it.

what's up with the (intentional?) busting open of Cena the hard way? pretty cool in my opinion. would be better if it weren't pre-planned. pretty sure the one on raw a few weeks back was planned too

lol at Brock going to hard at the move and injuring his own knee legitimately.
Jericho/Punk match wasn't that good imo because I already knew who was going to win. same with Bryan/Shamus match. i hate 2/3 matches, because it always winds up 1-1 after 2 falls, but I liked how they did it... via DQ you never see that.

and i was pissed when they said the "surprise" diva replacing the kayfabe-injured Beth was not going to be Kharma.I immediately lost interest. nice to see Layla back, because we need more eye candy with the Bellas leaving, but giving her the title right away? you could've squeezed a few weeks out of that, but the divas division isn't done right anyways so im not surprised

Brock Lesnar really have to get rid of that UFC style moveset. Should have book it with Lesnar winning though

Punk/Jericho is great as always, Bryan/Sheamus is good but the ending could have been better.
Orton/Kane is meh, Show/Rhodes is good.

That was a good promo from the TNT crew. Makes me want to watch wrestling.
Sadly, Charles Barkley is a better wrestling commentator than Michael Cole.

Helps when you have some personality. That said, Cole's commentary has been a bit better recently. Hopefully they keep moving away from him being antagonistic.

 Awesome.

So I just saw both Extreme Rules and Raw. The PPV was good for a non-big four show, I thought the world title matches are good. Crowd shouting "IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIME!" with Punk was awesome, the Sheamus-Bryan was worthy enough to reclaim that stupid booking at WrestleMania. Layla's return was okay, but I expected Kharma to come out and beat the hell out of the Bellas.

Cena - Lesnar was okay with the Lesnar's MMA spot and domination for about 90% of the match, only to have the same ending as always.

With Raw, we all know Cole lines with Laurinaitis, so why the hell did Cole suddenly hated him when Johnny Ace attacked Cena? Can heel commentators bury Cena and put heels over?

I think they're trying to make Cole's character a little more balanced, which is for the best if they're not going to have him be a face as is traditional, but that's a good example of the inconsistency of the character.

Okay, both Raw and Smackdown seem to be the one of the most boring episodes ever.

I'm only looking forward to the CM Punk-Daniel Bryan match at Over the Limit.

Big Show's heel turn was fairly predictable.

Meanwhile, Chris Jericho has given an interview with some interesting tidbits, including some insight into the return vignettes.

The over analyzation of the cryptic videos to bring him back: “They were looking too deep into it — WAY too deep. It was just supposed to be a creepy thing. My idea was that it was the Mayan calendar in 2012 saying it’s the end of the world and I was going back and it’s the ‘end of the world as you know it’. That means that if one day you are walking down the street and you find a dog, and then the dog lives in your house, then it’s the ‘end of the world as you know it’. It’s the end of the way that you used to live and it’s a new world. The girl we just put in because she was creepy looking. There was never supposed to be a girl coming in with me — there wasn’t a change of plan. It was exactly what it was intended to be — a cryptic little cool thing that led to me coming back and doing what I did.”

Pretty much what I figured.

the CM Punk-Bryan match was fantastic. and i was unaware that Camacho was even a wrestler. i thought all he did was escort his homie down to the ring on his bike.

It's rare that a character like that wouldn't be portrayed by an actual wrestler, one fresh out of developmental and waiting for their big break. Those characters tend to end up taking bumps or getting booked in matches at some point, so they need fully trained folks in the roles.

It's worth noting that Fozzy has some tour dates, so the indefinite suspension likely offers them a convenient excuse to write him out temporarily. Even if the incident itself wasn't planned, they're probably making it work in their favour.

Fine by me. There's only so many times you can use that to bring someone back or debut a new wrestler.

Looking at the cover, that may be Punk's in-game model. They may have put in a Cobra look-a-like tattoo.
