Happy New Year everyone!
I was just home trying to make a nice dinner for my lady and baby boy, nothing fascinating.

Sounds like a good time over all.

Do you guys participate a lot in setting off fireworks and such? I know Curacao, Suriname have a shit load of fireworks and it's pretty subdued over here in that regard.

Also, any new years resolutions?

Fireworks are only allowed in very specific areas over here, because this part of West Texas is as dry as it gets and every year some random moron will manage to cause a fire. I haven't participated in setting up any for probably 25-30 years in any case...
Not sure if it's a new year resolution but I guess I certainly wanna try to be less selfish and always put my family first, having a newborn changes everything.

Yeah, fireworks laws are pretty strict here as well. We hired a couple of holiday houses on a big property though, so between the pool, a bit of archery, karaoke, video games, DVDs, and more than a couple of cold beverages, we had a pretty fun time.
