I've tried to keep a positive outlook but things have goten worse and I literally can't stand being at work now. I now have to directly answer to a chick who had the same position as I have right now, and it's just killing me. I can't even afford to tell them all to fuck off and quit on the spot, I really need to have something solid before being able to do that.
I started looking for another job once again after almost 1 year of not doing so, but it's so fucking depressing to see how little is being offered in my field and in this area.
Feeling pretty damn misreable these days... :miserable:

Ugh.

Supposed to go out on a date tonight, but the girl backed out yesterday saying she's going somewhere else.

Lame, but it's probably a blessing in disguise as you've likely been spared a lousy date.

The thing is, she already agreed last Saturday. Then all of a sudden she canceled it realizing "she will be off somewhere else." But I would always take a straight-up "no" for an answer.

Lean, we must be in the same brainwave channel or something. Mine doesn't like to say no. I don't need to be strung along. You can say no(but say yes, damnit!). However, people tend to over react and jump to conclusions, so I will give her the benefit of the doubt. I already bought the tickets, though. I've got two other women I can ask, but one might have to work. Fingers crossed.

My case as well. This girl is an office mate and I think we get along very well as she has the same interests as mine (gaming, graphics, sketching, movies, hell even plastic robot model kits). So during her birthday last January, as I bought another kit, I gave her this:

(the kit I bought during the time was the same as this, only much more serious and has proper proportions)

I gave her that although we didn't actually saw each other that day, I left that on my table covered in a brown envelope and I just texted her saying that she should pick up that box.

Assuming we're close to say the least, I always ask her out for lunch. We call each other "dude." She is three years younger than me.

Anyway, one could always take a no although I'm always hoping for a yes. And FYI, I haven't dated anyone yet out of my 25 years of existence.

EDIT: She said we head out today. Not hoping though.

Why do I get low posts and low interests on my association? I'm trying to find the solution or I found it, I don't know.

Because it sucks. Plain and simple.
Try to get tips from that great thread entitled "How to Make a Successful Association" whose thread author has made successful stories himself.

I'll give Badger a serious answer here, and it's probably been explained to Thierry before: you gotta work your way up. If you were browsing the association section, would you be tempted to read one that just got started, or one that's been going on for 10 pages? I'm sure it's the latter, because you know that that person is committed to their story. Given Badger's history of "Badgering" aka "Thierrying" his stories, people are less inclined to want to read them.

Association/Dynasty stories aren't for the readers, they're for your own enjoyment. If you write a story just to get readers, you're just being an attention whore. So yeah, Badger, take shadow's advice, up the quality of your story (read other people's associations ffs!), and read the "How to Make a Successful Association". Steaming off for not having readers is not a legitimate reason to post in this thread imo.

Wut? You're an asshole to suggest that to Badger.

Axel. wrote:Association/Dynasty stories aren't for the readers, they're for your own enjoyment
This.
Those who make successful association stories enjoy their game so much that they take the time to share that enjoyment with others as to write a story about it.

I spent an hour and a half typing up a recap of the draft for my franchise and it got deleted. Now I have to do it from scratch.

Any long recaps, best to have Microsoft Word to the side and save it in there as you go.
