Currently playing on All-Star difficulty with The Purist's sldiers from OS, slightly adjusted. Sim playstyle I guess.

Oh and before anyone thinks they're being smart by saying that it has to do with the downloaded copy I've been using back in October before the release date - I've bought a retail copy long since then.

We just got a fucking arctic storm and we're getting two days in a row in the single digit temperatures (around -15 degrees Celsius), which is completely unseen around here. It's snowing too... :?

Playing SmackDown vs Raw, Fatal 4-Way elimination match. My CAW and Shad are the last two left. I get a finisher, hit it. Shad falls under the ropes, so I drag him out. As I do so, Vance Archer comes running down the ramp to help me out (why, I have no idea). Since the match continues when the camera cuts away to Archer, I have no clue where I'm dragging Shad. Turns out once it cuts back that he's still in the ropes, I go to drag him again, but he reverses. He ended up winning. Who thought it was a good idea to leave the match going while the camera cuts away?

When my dad was in college in Michigan, they had wind chills that regularly went to -60. Negative 60. :o

It was probably frustrating for you, but hey, that's how rivalries start. Go beat Archer's ass.

Not as bad as Dallas, freaking below freezing. The ice is thick, and now there's snow in below freezing weather.

Great.

Incidentally, exactly the same thing happened today. I was Undertaker, Kane comes running in right after I kip-up, leaving me with no idea what to do to actually tombstone the guy (I don't recall who my opponent was). He gets the upper hand. I reverse, get back in control of the match (though my finisher was used up at that point), lights go out, Kane's in the ring...and kicks 'Taker in the gut, leaving him laying. I ended up losing that one, too.

I actually can't even remember the last time I won. Usually every time I get close to a signature move, the CPU decides it's just not going to put up with it anymore, hits several moves in a row, and I'm left with no momentum at all.

I paid $90 a pop for 2 of my books this semester. I've found an average of 3-4 typos per chapter in each book.....fucking ridiculous. Everything from the wrong than/then, Differential being spelled ifferential, and sentences that don't even have a subject.

Grammar Nazi?

You would think that with such pricey books like that, the quality of how their written would at least match that price. (N)

Exactly, I could care less about the grammar being wrong or misspellings, but if I'm paying that much dough for a fucking book, it better not have stupid mistakes.

Not quite a steam or anything but looking back at my Live 08 patching thread today, I realised how much of an asshole I was sometimes when I was younger. :(

Stress Fracture, I was just looking back at my patching thread and I read through some of my old posts. Looking back at the old days are always fun, and I always enjoy reading my old posts. It tells you what kind of person you were when you was younger and how you've changed throughout the years. I just thought that some of the posts I made back then sounded really arrogant and immature at times, and it left me wondering how I even said those words. ;)

Good for you, Modifly. Never really knew you so shouldn't judge, but good to hear that you've grown as a person.

Here's to the hope that someday shadgrin finally sees it as well.

Just like Modi, I just browsed the Live 08 section and kinda missed the good old days there... Browsing some of the threads I usually visit there a long time ago made me miss it more.. :(
