The Letting Off Steam Thread

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Agreed. I love the way 2k11 replicates the NBA game where you can go on a 16-2 run then suddenly other team will score 4 straight baskets. 2k11 replicates a "game of runs".

Started a franchise on Madden 08 (lol) Chiefs went freaking 2-14, then 4-12.... Sort of pissed...

One bright note, I am moving the team to San Antonio :D

Exactly. Live's comeback logic isn't a bad idea in theory, but in execution it produces some frustrating results at times (and in some titles more than others).

the idiot in the NBA.com Top 10s keeps saying "In the house Magic used to play in" whenever someone does a sick pass....in the Staples Center. Watching the daily top 10/top 5 is more or less a ritual for me and while I've never liked the announcer guy this is the first consistent thing he's done that has annoyed me, and its about the lakers no less.
Opinions are my own.

I watched a bunch of top 10/5's and both of them say that crap. That Eric Bledsoe pass from last night was more of a Larry Bird type dish, too. We should start a campaign with spoof videos where we replace the commentary.

Summer officially started two days ago, but in reality started a month ago. Very hot weather here.

Letting off even more steam: 1 PM, an idiot on a truck collisioned with a street light and also the cables stopped working. Electricity came back half an hour ago, it's 11PM now.

I really hate those "What did you receive for Christmas?" threads. I really hope at NLSC stoops to that level. I really don't :shake:

Seriously though, any particular reason? It seems a relatively harmless topic of conversation.

If there ends up being such a thread, I will post what I gave other people since what I receive will not be anything like when I was a kid.

One time I asked for a new car. They got me a rolls royce. A matchbox one.

as for me, I got a business suit from Stef....I needed a new one, so it will be put to good use....apart from that, that's all I got....I guess I enjoy giving more than receiving....I'm a bad gift receiver I think....

as for my family, we decided to not do presents this year (outside of for kids of course), which was cool by me....

that's participation son

I love you guys, but sharing what I got and reading what others got is a level I would gladly stoop to every year. It is the only holiday that this site can celebrate together since you commies don't like massacring turkeys or feel like worshiping this nation.

It's Christmas and some idiot steams about losing a match in a videogame.

I'm would agree with the X on this one if it weren't for that ugly custom title.
Joel Anthony is still playing in the league right now. Horacio Llamas? Exactly.
