This is wrong to a new level, but by far I think this is the best prank I've seen on the internet.
Edit: the first pranks

Wow, what a pussy. Either that or 'what an aftershock'.

That reminds me of when I went to a New England Revolution game against DC United. In like the 80th minute the score was 2-2, DC United cleared the ball upfield, and all of a sudden DC's CB just falls on the ground covering his face. They showed replays and closeups on the screen at Gilette stadium, and it just showed him walking up the field (nobody anywhere near him, not even his own teammates), then all of a sudden falling backwards screaming and grabbing his head. He got a yellow for that and then New England scored the winning goal. He was like a Mexican or Brazilian player or something.
But the Dida one is just ridiclious, get brushed on the neck, chases the fan halfway across the goal, then just lays down in "pain".... Its been a while (if ever) that I saw a keeper take a flop, espically of this absurdity.
Jae's list is pretty spot on though, I watched a match between the Uwara Red Diamonds and some Korean team in the AFC 2007 cup, and the Korean players were just throwing their bodies into the air, not even touching the defender, and trying to get a foul.
Still, this Dida one beats them all.

You owe me 3 minutes of my life for that shit.
Also, that piano line was
illegally sampled from Aphex Twin's album "Druqks". Not cool. (Aphex Twin is cool, illegally sampling Aphex Twin for a shitty comedy song is not)

I can't believe I actually wasted my time to pause my music to listen to that turd monkey sing.
Kind of sings like me when I try to go sing ultra high notes to be honest.

-"I work in a chicken factory"
-"...Good."
That guy was hilarious but only because he was completely sincere about it.

Well I can gather one thing from this performance.
Screamy Guy > MC Steve.

How much evidence does it take for people to realize that these crappy performers are pre-arranged/fake?

I've thought that too but you can't be certain for some of these weirdos.

Well... any at all would be a start, aside from saying "it must be fake of course". EVERY performer is pre arranged, they all go through various forms of screening before they're allowed in front of those judges.

So you honestly believe that the guy in the above video was not paid a nice sum of money to act like an idiot for the camera?

He clearly has some sort of disability, the singing could be faked but everything else points to something being wong with him. He was also invited back onto the show at the finale to "perform" again... they do this with the "worst" contestants. I'd highly doubt they would have to pay this guy any money, especially considering the fact that he uses applause at karaoke bars to fuel his belief that he's a good singer. Actually, all you have to do is head out to most karaoke bars and you'll see that people like this really do exist.
Edit: That's not to say that I don't think he was set up in some way, I'm sure the production staff and whoever all told him he would be put through or that he sounded fantastic etc. And he was obviously hand picked from the earlier audition phases to perform in front of the judges, but for him to be like that as a person I'd doubt it's fake.

That was the start of my suspicion, for the record. There's no way these people are that numb - I say it's all an act.
EDIT: Hehe, the description of that video says he has "AUTISM". More lies ftw.

One dodgy audition on American Idol (different show, different country) doesn't mean they're all fake... that one is very sus though.

Sometimes it's hard for normal people to grasp how others can be so abnormal. It is obvious that he was "set up" but you can't say that he's faking it. He is either a really talented actor or just a creepy weird guy. It's most likely the latter.
