I had one removed last year, my mouth was so numb that I was drooling everywhere without noticing, it was gross. Luckily I could eat crunchy food on the other side of my mouth, and I didn't have any pain afterwards either, it just took a long time for the anesthetic to wear off.

I had all mine out back in 03 or 04 and couldnt eat anything for 48 hours or so because of the pain

after I woke up on the 2nd day though i was eating toast, chips, etc stuff I wasnt "supposed" to be eating with no pain
Opinions are my own.

I have a couple of them that are still very slowing growing, I was told years ago that I may need to have them removed at some point if they were going crooked, but that hasn't been necessary so far. Can't believe I still don't have all my teeth out at my age

Haha, those of you who felt no pain are lucky. I'm on a week today and It's not really that my mouth hurts, but it is sore. I had an infection on my left side which has given me the most trouble. I assume minus that infection and I may be feeling alright. The main thing I want to get over is taking asprin. I've been doing acetaminophen and my anti-biotic during the day and like 2 motrin, a vicodin, and an anti-biotic. lol, I feel like an addict taking all those, but I also enjoy sleeping without a pulsing jaw.

Just to clarify, did you have them out in the chair with a local or was it surgery? Mine had all come through so they were able to be pulled in the chair, which is probably why I wasn't in any pain afterwards. I was in a lot more pain before that, since one of them broke on the way through.

uhh, I guess mine were partially exposed? He had to go down to get them though, that may be a reason they hurt more.

I'd say so, from the sounds of it my situation was pretty straightforward in comparison.

If Christmas can be ruined for you by your not having a girlfriend, you need to sort out your priorities.

How on Earth can you be pissed about being single on Christmas? Have you got any idea how much money you're saving?

Depends on your on-demand porn site subscriptions.

Actually, Christmas is the time to give dick to a girl as a present. Alot of them want it just as much as you do(I mean the opposite of dick for you), they just don't make it known so they don't seem like whores. So, ask a girl whom you wouldn't mind tappin what she is doing around Christmas. If she says nothing or not much, then there is your chance.

Best Christmas memory is the year before I met my now-wife. Got absolutely slaughtered with my older brother and my younger step-brother. We went through about five 700mL bottles (two Scotch, one Bourbon, one White Rum, one Vodka). I remember saying to the other guys that I could throw the Xmas cake over the neighbour's house (probably about a 50 metre throw, so no small task). Problem was after I threw it I realised the Xmas cake wasn't fruit cake it was sponge/ice cream cake

So yes, don't complain about being single. There is a lot to do for the single lads out there, including following Pdub's advice :P

Loving your Kwame Brown moment X. :)

Hmmm maybe I will do some cakethrowing after work today at the pub.

On sidenote, love being at work on Xmas Eve... the atmosphere is so lazy here, don't even know why we are in...
