Bah, what a waste of space.

Let me be pissed about something.

Let's target my pathetic school. I start almost everyday at like 8.30 & finish at 4.00 p.m. That means I have to get up at 7.00 a.m. & will eventually get home at around 4.45 p.m.
Then you have an overload on school work, which happens to be in dutch. I dislike writing/reading in dutch. Meh, I do it. But don't expect me to like it. What am I complaining about? I'd probably be whining about my english classes if my school was English too. Oh well, atleast out there somone spoke the same frigging language as me.

I know Sebastian, Rens, CK & now Trust must be thinking what the fuck is this guy on about? Well...my mom was gracious enough to put me in one of the weirdest ass schools known to man-kind. I've already had problems with various teachers since they heard I've lived on the Antilles, they are quite narrow minded & have an idea that anyone that comes from there is a) stupid, b) violent or c) rude.

In all seriousness, I am all of the above. I am stupid (more in an annoying way I think, but I've heard I'm just plain stupid too, doesn't bug me though...), I can be violent. I just have a short fuse & get agrivated very fast & I'm one of the rudest people you will meet in real life. I will probably walk away from you while you're talking to me because I feel you are boring me. I've gone as far as yawning in my girlfriends face. (Ofcourse she broke up with me stating "relationship issues".)

Anyways, back on track. My teachers more think of me as stupid as in dumb. No, dumb I'm not. Lazy I am. They have a gazillion and one rules, you HAVE to make homework. They check daily & put check marks (wtf is this, second grade? Grow up ye asswipes!) and if you've not done alot of the work (in my case) you have lost one rechance. Bah...bastards.

I dislike paying attention & most likely have ADD. More than 5 minutes would be amazing. One thing I can do is learn. I absorb information so I know I don't have to pay attention. Call it logic shall we.

Ah well, I went thru whole of last year with every teacher breathing down my neck chanting the same shit, you won't pass if you don't start working yada yada yada. Alas, it's the same shit this year.

To top off the whole fiasco, I have a class that consists of 7 people. This is quite hard for a person that gets along with few people & is used to classes of 27 or more pupils back on the island. (Classes were actually fun back then. Latin ass helped alot too I suppose.)

This school on the other hand, 99.9% is Turkish/Marrokkan and the remaining 0.01 percent is surinamese. What I've noticed from the Surinamese over here is that they have an air of arrogance, as if they are better since they live in Holland. Pff...all oily slick hair and all that. Get a grip & come back down to earth folks.
I don't have a problem with the Turkish people, I just wish they'd speak Dutch and/or English. All they speak is turkish. It's as if I've been thrown into an army of strangers speaking a strange dialect. I don't understand a word thus just politely smile & nod my head during breaks. (3 fucking breaks? Whats wrong with these people? Take out the 3 breaks and I could go home at 2.30 damn it. What's up with them?!)

Now, this might be quite normal for alot of the peeps that have been attending that school for the past 3-4 years but me coming from a laid back, fun filled enviroment to being an unknown not only hurts my ego, it's brain damaging. (If it could get more damaged.) Bah, thank the Lord this is my last year in high school, another plus point is that my group of friends (who I saw in the summer) will be here in 2 years. Something better than nothing is right.

I think this will be the year I work hardest given I'm sure I'd go bezerk & vandalize that school to death if I had to stay back a year. I've been on my best behaviour since I've been in Holland but for how long I can keep this up is a mystery to me. Anyways, countdown is on...few more months to go & I'm free of this school. This is the worst 2 years of my life by far.

Oh well, who cares? I dislike them, they dislike me it's a beautiful circle of life. Heh, atleast I can boast about getting higher grades than them whilst being labelled an imbecile.

For the rest it's all good.

I actually like my school. It's got great facilities (especially our new (2 years old) gym :salivates:) and the 75% of the teachers are good. The people are pretty much all nice. There is virtually no bullying, almost like they're following the "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anthing at all" rule. A few people get into fights once in a while (5-6 a year.) And our basketball team kicks ass. Except the Grade 8 (going into 9) team, they sux0r to the max.

Jackal do your teachers check if the homework is correct? If they don't do a couple questions then just fill in answers that look plausible. I do that a lot.

If they are in the mood to do so (which they often are, those bastards) they tend to check.

Your suggestion is a good one, but it's one that still requires me to pick up a pen/pencil and actually write something. I'd rather avoid that part. Too stressfull. ( )

Bah, I can complain about the school again. It's so tiny they don't have their own gym facilities. This morning my first two periods are scheduled to be gym, I was supposed to take the tram and find out how to get to some track field so we good run. It was pretty dry when I left the house (around 7 ish, which means I had to wake up at around 6 orso) well I got to the place after searching a bit at around 8.15 orso. The period begins at 8.30, if you're late more than once, you could lose the ability to do your exams. That's the rule for "skipping" classes. 2 x late = 1 skipped class. 3 classes skipped & bye bye year.

Anyways, I get there at like 8.15 and bam...it starts pouring cats & dogs. We were all sent back home.

I'm telling you, God's against me. He finds plessure in pissing me off.
