I'm finnaly getting Bioshock this week, I know its great, but do you guys have anything to say about it?

It was pretty good but overhyped IMHO. Yes, the overall atmosphere is amazing, very creative and artistic, and the story is pretty damn cool. But it got repetitive pretty very for me, and mostly it really shows its console roots. Some visuals are incredible, but most of the textures are very low-resolution and it really spoiled the fun a lot for me.

Finished Fallout 3 this evening and tried out a couple of endings. I'm sure I'll play through it again and try out different paths and check out all the sidequests but I might put it aside for now.

I kinda liked the first one 3 years ago, but I was not too impressed with this demo overall. The engine must be different or heavily modified because it looks quite different, but I thought it was too grainy and I'm not sure if it fully exploits widescreen, the FOV was kinda weird.
Had some fairly creepy moments, but they seem to have opted for more of a console-type of gameplay, it didn't really feel like a PC FPS it for me, but more like arcade shooting. Hopefully, the full version will prove me wrong.

Nba 2k9, Mvp Baseball 1978 mod, 1994 mod, and the 2008 mod, call of duty 4, left for dead, Crysis (wh), i have a few more mirriors edge, lost planet, etc just not installing yet, barely have time keep up with these, yet alone mlb 2k9 when it drops.

Resident Evil being my favorite game series, and with the wait for RE5 being excruciating, I broke down and bought a Gamecube and the RE1 remake. Turns out Gamecubes require memory cards, and Resident Evil doesn't have checkpoints.

So, I died after the three scariest hours of gaming I've ever experienced. Those Crimson Heads are brilliant. Fuuuuuuck.

I upgraded my video card from 8600 GTX to ATI HD4870 1GB GDDR5 recently, to go along with my Q6700 so I am playing GTA 4 at almost full setting right now. It seems it's a better game on console than PC though.

That Live 08 was even worse than 07. Fallout 3 is one of the best though. NeverWinter Nights also is an awesome game.

zanshadow, I've been playing Live 09 on the 360, but in the past week I have played 07 (street mod), 06 (PC mod), 04 (generics mod), and 2k9 equally on the PC. You get things in the older games that graphics and 2k's animations can't get.

Depends which platform you're talking about. NBA Live 08 PC was a terrible release but the Xbox 360 version was considerably better (but certainly with its own issues).

With all the patches on Neverwinter Nights 2, sometimes there are plot bugs that cannot be removed. Oh hell, lost love for that game.

Should've got a Wii and a Wavebird. Even though that's easier said than done.

Now that you have a GameCube though, you can experience the best gaming of the last gen: Metroid Prime and Wind Waker. Gonna need that memory card though better get a cheap knock-off. (And Zero is better than remake. And 4 is better than both combined.)

thanks to my wife i have been dragged back into the world of warcraft. i downloaded latest drivers for my vid card and it came with a 10 day free trial to wow. sitting home bored one day she installed the trial and started to play, within a week she had me buying her the game then getting another through RAF. so i got away from the game once and now i am back to it for who knows how long. didnt even get fear 2 yet which i really want
