That sucks...for you. I think as long as you aren't dying of exhaustion or getting fat it's all right. I do think that as you get older you'll begin being able to sleep those 7.5 to 8 hours.

Were you the one that started training also or am I confusing with someone else?

Its like a circle thats what bothers me. I go to bed tired and I get up tired. I've managed to take naps after school and they do the job sometimes. Though even with naps I don't even come close to the eight hours of sleeping that I would like to get.

I don't think you confused me with someone else. I did start some training in the summer and I'm still working on it. I don't do anything fancy though. Just push ups, crunches, lifting weights, running and eating as healthy as I can on top of that. I'm in great form muscle wise, just need to lose two kilograms or so. Oh, and I can't wait to hit a real gym next year

Ah, really then, the sleeping part would be your only obstacle. Also, naps shouldn't be more than an hour long, chances of you waking up "tired" after a longer nap are stronger than when you just nap for an hour.

So yeah, might really want to try and invest some more time and energy in trying to get to bed a tad earlier.

You'll probably find there's alot of movement during the night, whether you sleep walk or move around alot or even have some sort of sleep disorder that could be causing it. It might be worth going to a sleep clinic or at least a GP about it, my sleep pattern has been fucked up for years and the longer you leave anything sleep related the worse it gets.

I've been to this doctor before that specializes in sleeping disorders. He was talking about how my bed was not put in the right spot, so I changed that. It actually got worse after that. Usually I passed out and was sleeping from 2am to 7am, but after that I could not sleep before 4am which sucks.

I'm gonna go to another doctor now to see if that helps. Might even go to a clinic if I find one.

Jackal, you're an expert in the workout department. Would it help if I get myself really exhausted? Or would it only make it worse?

You could give that a try. I usually sleep best when I'm quite tired. When I'm not so tired I don't sleep as deep as when I'm tired.

Doesn't have to do with workout only, you can even work or just be busy throughout the day. Give it a shot...see if you fall asleep, you can't lose much. 4 a.m. to 7 a.m., I would seriously be in a foul mood. I'd function...but I'd be in a very foul mood. Especially given I don't drink any coffee/Red Bull/any other thing laden with sugar to spike you up.

Lastly, I'm far from an expert. I'm just a n00b who is a bit in overdrive. (I actually worked out twice today. Once in the morning from 11 till 1.30 and then tonight from 9 till 10.15. Fun, fun.

I'll try with a really hard workout, maybe it will get me to sleep. I think I'm fairly busy throughout the day so I don't think it should be a problem .. I might try resting for a day or two. Just staying in bed or something like that.

Believe me 3 hour sleeping nights are so fucked up .. I rarely sleep more than that. I'm usually so cranky in the morning, every little thing gets me mad. And it even shows at school. No wonder I argue so much with the teachers. I usually can't even get myself going without an energy drink. I don't know what I would do if I wouldn't drink that.

And lol, you're surely not a n00b. By the way how is that workout working for you? Did you get to your goal or are you still working on it?

Also thanks for the advices and tips. I'll try them. And give an update on the situation when I'm finished.

I'm sorta pissed off right now.

For new years I went out with a bunch of friends. One girl is 17, and she was using an ID that looked sorta like her to get into the clubs. Anyway I was sick of getting rejected from clubs for using my Student ID because they only take a passport, drivers license, 18+ card, so I just made a fake one. It looked pretty good, better than most fake ID's I've seen.

We stopped in at a bar and I used my real ID (student ID) to get in and get some drinks. We stayed there for about 30 minutes then went across the road to a club. My friends told me to go first because if I couldn't get in they wouldn't go in. I gave him my fake ID (went there a couple days ago and couldn't get in with my Student ID) and he asked me my middle name and date of birth like usual, then he bent it. Then he checked the edges. I was like "Oh shit".

My friend was drunk as hell explaining that it went through the wash, then changed his story to "It's a photocopy". So I was just like, fuck it, I'm gonna explain. The bouncer told me he knew it was fake, so I said it is. I said I didn't want to spend new years at home while everyone was at the clubs, so I did it. I am actually 18 and showed him my student ID. Then he says "OK, I'm gonna try work something out". Out comes the bar manager, the bouncer explains my story and the manager tells me I'm lucky. Then all of a sudden he see's the name on the fake ID - my friend told me to put a different name, so if I got caught with it they couldn't track me down. I did, and now the manager is gholding my student ID which says Shannon and my fake ID which says Michael. He looks at the bouncer and said check out the names.

So I say fuck it then I'll leave, pass me my natcoll ID and you guys can do what you need to do with the fake one. He says no I'm not getting either of the ID's back. I went to grab it off thebouncer and the bar manager pushes me, so I push him back. He keeps butting in on me saying I want my real ID back, and then he explains this to me:

1. I have to go into the police station tomorrow and pick up my real ID
2. I'll be fined a maximum of $2000 - probably the Max because it was a complete fake
3. I will be doing community service
4. They have my real name from my real ID so I can't get out of it

I think I still can, and even if I get a call from the police I'm not paying no fine or doing any community service. Fuck that.

I'm definately not going into the police station tomorrow either.

If anyone is wondering, I've been to lazy to get a license, I've never been out of the country so I have no passport and finally the 18+ card I was told by the company who issues them will take around 4 weeks to arrive because of the holiday season, and this was almost 2 weeks ago so I figured there's no point because it won't arrive until after New Years.
