Will (13-14) & I combined (21) for 34 or 35 of team's 41 points in the last game of the season....we probably took no more than 1/2 the team's shots

it was really only a 32-33 minute game since the other team didn't really have much of a team & the game started 7-8 minutes late....our games run with continuous clock, so no stoppages for fouls or timeouts (unless in last minute of 2nd quarter of last 2 minutes of 4th quarter)....
our team is pretty dismal offensively, we usually average about 30ppg, with Will & I usually combining for about 65-70% on the team's points on about 45% of the shots....we both usually get double teamed in games, depending on who is hot that game....we do find the open man but they can't hit the backside of a barn....defensively we are decent, holding teams to an average of 36ppg....we're betting we have 6'7" Ben cleaning it up in the middle
but yeah, Qballer, sounds like your team is having the difficulty of ours regarding tempo....if your team is unfit, likes ours, we usually don't run....but now that some of us are getting fitter & better at running the court (we included), we are starting to push it a little more & have been a lot more competitive....if you've got decent guards, push the tempo....if your big men run the court, reward them with passes....same if they make big defensive plays....in a slowed down offense, you'd need players who can either create for themselves, create for others, hit the offensive glass, hit open jumpers....problem with slow down offense is execution....I find you need decent guards....you also need to be a good defensive team as well....if your team is inept offensively, you might want to run....
