Jackal, that was the right thing you did. It was so clear that she's basically saying, "Help me because you adore me. If you don't help me, I'm gonna pout and demand you to kiss my feet!"

As for falling in love, the exception is that it's not a mistake if the woman loves you back.

PS: Since you said Tyler Durden, Sagar, you're the man!

Thu Aug 30, 2007 10:52 am

Fuck yeah, Jackal, that was great. I specially agree with "As soon as those twats realize they've got you wrapped around their finger they put you on a shelf like a disposable object."

Thu Aug 30, 2007 1:41 pm

Keep doing weird Sagar, keep doing weird.

Thu Aug 30, 2007 1:51 pm

"doing weird". No wonder she needs your help.

Thu Aug 30, 2007 3:49 pm

Hehe, "Je doet raar" = You're doing weird. Literally translated, sorry folks.

Those silly Americans trying to ban childhood games such as Tag...

http://www.850thebuzz.com/blog/?p=3173

If Tag is going to be banned , why not go all out? Why not ban tennis or soccer? I got hit in the package once by a tennis ball while playing tennis in middle school , should Tennis be banned too?

Fri Aug 31, 2007 3:35 am

Silly Yanks.
Tag is fun and one great way to start a fight is tagging two persons at the same time. The two will quarrel who is it, which will lead to a kiddie fight. Good days.

Of course you agree, emo-Drex.

Nice finisher.

Jackal's got it.
As a woman that I never knew once said to me: (roughly translated)
If you're angry at a woman, make them feel that you're pissed at her and act like a jerk. You don't have to feel guilty for acting like that, she deserves to be treated like shite for treating you like shite.

Fri Aug 31, 2007 3:49 am

Haha. I loved this comment.

Maybe they can play tag on Wii instead.

Fri Aug 31, 2007 5:46 am

Times like this I am becoming increasingly ashamed at being American.

Swear to god if my kids school canceled dodgeball and tag, I'd have the parents and their kids over for a play date and let them play banned games every Sunday.

What happened to the days when being American meant you could kick the ass of 70 percent of the worlds population just because you were American and you were raised to genuinely believe that you could?

Fri Aug 31, 2007 10:04 am

Well apparently nowadays just believing doesn't get you jack, you have to actually do something.

Plus your country is run by a complete tool.

What the hell do the kids play then? Did they ban patty cakes too because someone got slapped?

I'm getting tired of all the fascists. Anti-smoking, anti-fast food, helmut laws, seatbelt laws, etc.

The nanny state is fascism. And we have people who want to expand it with things like national health insurance.

I'm also tired of this secular religion of "Climate Change" and the fascists who want to use this religion to dominate everyone. The preachers of it say, if we don't change our sinful ways, there will be an apocalypse.

They also seem stuck in the past, when man was the center of the universe. Solar activity has infinately more to do with "global warming" than anything man could do. The Ocean and Volcanoes produces more CO2 than the rest of the Earth combined, but it's us doing it? Why does temperature drop during the greatest increases in manmade CO2?

When I was younger, we were supposed to be headed for a new ice age, because temperatures were dropping.

Everyone whines "but it's science!" Science isn't fact, it is our understanding of reality at the current time. Everyone on here grew up learning Pluto is a planet, now the science says it is not. Scientific consensus once said the Earth was flat and the center of the solar system. Science "PROVED" the Jews were inferior. How many things are "proven" harmful, just to be "proven" a benefit a week later? We're watching supposed "laws" being challenged regularly today, such as the speed of light. Science is not about answers, but about more questions. Treating "scientific consensus" as reality, is no different from believing religious texts literally.

Global warming is the eugenics of our time. Everyone KNEW it to be true back then. Presidents, Supreme Courts, "scientific consensus" and celebrities they all supported it.

Oh yeah, and celebrities are the royalty of our time too. That's why I refuse to participate.

Unless it's Jenna Fischer. I would participate anytime.

I think Benji is just mad because him, Big KaBoom and I got freaking murked in DoD when we played together. God damn do I hate friendly fire servers, I'm always too pussy to pull the trigger on anyone.

Fri Aug 31, 2007 2:54 pm

Well, those Dust and Avalanche servers had their share of people using cheats. I got shot through the wall I don't know how many times on Dust, and that one sniper on Avalanche was no scoping everyone, and firing well before people appeared while scoped.

That first clan was just too good for my atrophied skills, (not that they were great to begin with, but I was a solid 1:1 guy) I haven't played the game in close to a year. I didn't realize Source was THAT different. That second one was better for me, but then I had to ruin everything by trying to snipe Kaboom and got myself killed too much.

I can't believed I played better in CS:S with Kaboom, a game I've played maybe 20 times total before, than I did in DoD which I played for how many years.

The beating probably brought out what was already festering from a week of returning to school with all these idiots.

I remember that, I used to think that would be cool.
I was even into the whole thing by reading about the last ice age and such. I even wanted to see an elephant become a mammoth.

Sat Sep 01, 2007 2:13 pm

I'm pretty sure no one on the Dust server was cheating... Except maybe that Rambo MGer, but I normally play on that server with most of the same people and I don't normally do as badly as I did.

Sat Sep 01, 2007 7:17 pm

Lol I just had the cops called on me, I feel like such a bogan.

Who can understand girls is my hero. Damn I just can't figure them out.

I've been chasing this one girl the whole summer now if not even more . I've been taking her out to bowling, movies and now that I ask her to be my dance date at the end of 9th grades dance party she can't give me a "yes". She is rather leaving me on a hook for some time now just to see if I'm going to wait or ask someone else. I know she is testing me and all, but hell its pissing me off so much. Why do girls feel the need to test you ? :x I wish I would be like Mel Gibson in that movie , where he reads women's thoughts . It would sure help me in this situation.

I feel like I'm going to end up like Jackal in the end .

Pera wrote:She is rather leaving me on a hook for some time now just to see if I'm going to wait or ask someone else.

When is the end of 9th grade for you? Have you kissed her or anything?

She's probably keeping you as a failsafe. Maybe she wants someone else to ask her. You can ask someone else and see what happens.

Sun Sep 02, 2007 7:17 am

In June and yes, I did kiss her and we were dating for a while. We were fighting a while back since I almost got stabbed and she was worried that she would end up in the same situation. So we broke up, because of that. And now I'm trying to get her back and that dance would probably be the first step in doing so, since we would need to take lessons together and we would have a lot of time to get things straight.

Sun Sep 02, 2007 7:33 am

Well, the dance is 9 months away, and anything can happen between now and then. So, I wouldn't try to get an immediate answer.

Sun Sep 02, 2007 7:40 am

Actually more like a month, since the dance partners can't be changed when they are arranged. I know its stupid, but for some reason it is like that.

I'll see how it will go and then I'm going to make my decision what to do next.

You have a really poor understanding of science and the scientific method. Science has this thing called peer review, which religion is not really subject to. Science, rather scientific observations and conclusions, are constantly shifting and changing as we acquire more and more knowledge about the world and the way things operate. Therefor, if all or most of the evidence at one time points to the Earth being flat, for example, it is scientifically sound to assume it is so. That is until new evidence is introduced that requires you to re-evaluate the theory, which is something totally lacking in fundamentalist religious thought (I feel it is important to distinguish religious thought from fundamentalist religious thought, as they are very different). So, to say that science is not reliable simply because at one time the consensus was different than it is now is completely false.

So if you don't want to consider scientific consensus to be more or less "factual," that's your choice. But I wonder how many times you'd have to throw a ball in the air before it failed to come back down.

As for global warming, the question isn't "Are humans the sole cause?," but rather "Are humans accelerating the problem unnecessarily?" Also, global temperatures are not dropping, they are rising, so I don't know where you got that from. And consider this: the current amount of CO2 in the atmosphere is ~380 parts per million. In the 1970's, it was ~320 parts per million. If the CO2 levels continue to rise at the current rate, by 2050 we will be at 540 parts per million. The last time CO2 concentration was that high, sea levels were 30 meters higher than they currently are, which means say goodbye to all coastal cities.

EDIT: Concerning Eugenics.
Eugenics was in fact never "proven." It was devised by Darwin's cousin based on Darwin's work on evolution, more specifically "Origins of Species," which scientists are finding to be flawed. Darwin had the basic idea of evolution correct, but the way in which he proposed it worked was way off. So Eugenics was based on a flawed theory to begin, and as such is a pretty bad example. And science is certainly not immune to ideological distortions, which is exactly what happened with Eugenics.

Sun Sep 02, 2007 2:15 pm

I think that's the most likely one. Just ask someone else. Even if they aren't as attractive or whatever, don't let that bitch take your dignity  you don't want to be anyone's second option.

I have no idea how you got that from what you quoted...or from anything I've ever said.
Science, rather scientific observations and conclusions, are constantly shifting and changing as we acquire more and more knowledge about the world and the way things operate.

Tell that to the global warming fanatics...
So, to say that science is not reliable simply because at one time the consensus was different than it is now is completely false.

Well, you could also try to avoid putting words in my mouth, or inventing arguments I never made...problem solved.
The last time CO2 concentration was that high, sea levels were 30 meters higher than they currently are, which means say goodbye to all coastal cities.

Sounds like exactly what I was talking about...
So Eugenics was based on a flawed theory to begin, and as such is a pretty bad example. And science is certainly not immune to ideological distortions, which is exactly what happened with Eugenics.

Hmm...sounds a lot like "climate change" doesn't it...

Believing "manmade climate change" is FACT (lol WOW), declaring "the debate over" and comparing people who think otherwise to Holocaust deniers is pretty fundamentalist I would think...yet, they're treated as the "mainstream." That's what I was bitching about, not all this cockamanie bullshit you must have read elsewhere and confused into the text of my post.
