In a moment of revenge-fuelled madness that would have made even Roy Keane proud, former Tottenham midfielder Didier Zokora gets his own back on Emre with one of the nastiest tackles in recent memory.

The two players have previous after Zokora claimed Emre (formerly of Newcastle) racially abused him during a Turkey Super Lig match between Trabzonspor and Fenerbahce in April.

“Emre and I came face to face during the match. I’ll tell you what he said word for word. He called me: ‘A dirty n*****’,” said Zokora.

As a result, Emre was banned for two matches and Trabzonspor filed a civil law suit at an Istanbul court.

However, the two came face to face on Sunday night and the tone was set after Zokora refused to shake the other's hand as the two teams lined up at the start of the game.

The Ivorian midfielder later exacted his retribution with a tackle that will leave most men crossing their legs in sympathy - the only surprise was that the referee only deemed it worthy of a yellow card.
