The Milestone Thread

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Thanks for the kind words. All of you really. :)

Posting more sure would put the moron to non-moron ratio of NLSC in the positive direction. So do that. Or else i'll cut off your balls with a rusty knife.

That ratio is the reason I don't post much, I just get icky by reading many of the threads and posts here.

But the few quality guys makes it worth reading, and sometimes posting.

You and many others, which explains why the ratio is that way to begin with. Apart from the fact that they now have electricity in the Philippines.

True that, true that. I just don't know what to contribute to a thread which has more than five exclamation points in the title. Or a 'LOL'. Or maybe is just based on the question of "how high can you lie that your vertical is?!!".

Great work, MH. I believe me and you have gone at it in a few threads before and I'm sure it was all in good fun. You write in complete sentences and because of that I salute you. It usually takes me about 10 minutes to decode half the posts on this site but thankfully there are people like you who help reduce that time by posting like a normal human being.

Anyways, you should post more because even though your opinions are usually crap they are yours and they are expressed well. Great work on the milestone. (Y)

Ah Habbakuk.... that explains it.

I was confused where this posted named Mentaly Hilarious came from, seemed like he just appeared out of nowhere, but I figured it was a name change.

I completely forgot about Habbakuk.

i just noticed i hit the 4k mark. it's only fitting that i saw it 20 posts after i hit the "milestone"

anyway- i'm not realy into big productions or self promoting. though i would like to congratulate myself for making 4021 posts hehe

i was thinking of putting together a specific list of shout outs for you attention whores but decided against it. sorry :P

just a brief history of my brief, less then spectacular nlsc career-

joined when it was still the black and blue forums.
officially got my first flame when i asked for a Leon Smith cyberface
started posting a little in the NBA section but held back somewhat since there were so many 'sophisticates' back then
when the forumed moved, i was hooked and started to post daily. i became more active and eventually more argumentative. i still remember having an argument with ben and shane about how shitty of a GM Krause had been. i remember asking to meet either ben or shane in person so i could how they look like. they thought i was implying violence but i wanted to see what kind of person would defend an asshole like Krause. anywho...
while the Bulls were really shitty, i was grumpy, especially towards Lakers fams, specifically bryant fans, for that same amont of time.. incidentally or not, there was an infamous "bet" that happened with Laker fans they sure will never forget... or the picture i put of bryant crying after the Spurs eliminating the lakers in the playoffs in my sig.. haha good times
later, for some reason or another i was granted a mod position and ever since then i've chilled out a bit but still am game for a good discussion about basketball and/or fantasy sports
i'm definitely not as involved as much as before- i pretty much only check the nba section/other sports section regularly and just sometimes now for the general section.
and here i am now...

i've always believed the the community members themselves make the forum so thanks to everyone invovled in the nlsc- whether it be via moderating, posting, and/or both, being the webmaster, whatever. shouts out to you all

there have been some great debates/discussions, have 'met" and talked to some good people here... and sometimes there have been some completely unnecessary bullshit arguments. but overall, the nlsc has been an very enjoyable place for me to visit...

the nba season kicks off tonite so looking forward to being argumentative and grumpy (the latter which completely depends on how the Bulls do) for the next 9 months hehe

Late congrats!

Mentally Hilarious (aka Habakkuk - spelled it right ;)) - One of my favorite posters around here, always a delight to read. Thanks for the shoutout and congrats on your 1000th!

air gordon - Congrats on your 4000th! It was fun discussing about the fantasy league, and Fight Club will be one of the next few books that I'll read next. I'll see you on msn within the next four months ;)

it's a somewhat of a joke but since it really is true, it's funny. without getting into the specifics- it's in regards to the new computer technology/software that has been developed but not released and the computer geeks developing them. part of the delay of the release of this new age stuff is porn- all of the geek developers own porn so the issue here is the software being compatible with their porn and vice versa and the companies allowing it to be so

no tequila's last nite, x ;)

you bastard, shadow- you added me on your msn when i still had the limpdilznik msn account. but yeh i am a retard

i accept your offer, don or whatever you call yourself now. but i need your msn info first ;)

Well i just realized that this is my 1500th post. Probably gonna make a longer 2000th post but here is a list

andrew- still doing an outstanding job running the site...good luck with your bulls this year

jae, matthew, dahl, yohance- the old school mods. too bad jae and matthew left, you guys have all done a great job at managing the forums for the 18 months i have been around

jing, sit- asian guys that have been around the forums for a long time. jing is good to talk to on msn, sit is very good at making dynasties

the x, mark- these guys are both kiwis. x is known for his pwnage dynasties, mark also has very good dynasties and they have both been around for a while

jugs, fitzy, zmac, nick, laxation- A few aussie guys that i know, thanks to them i know what time it is in australia right now (its about 4:30 am)....and a few of these guys get drunk too often (you know who im talking about) . all these guys have been in my dynasties, some i talk to on msn. jugs also gets credit for saying hilarious things ("a pinoys foot is worthless", from fantasy draft), and fitzy is still the only ron mercer fan

cable, sam, cyanide- canadian guys. most of them, to no surprise, are hockey fans, which i am as well (hockeys popular in central pa). i also heard that anurak was really good at bball

mafia, mazz, kig, doobieknicks, c0nr4d, air gordon- these guys currently reside in the US, which of course is where i live. many of these guys are in my fantasy leagues, and some of them are rich (again, you know who im talking about). mafia totally pwns at bball, btw mafia are u in college yet? ill also give credit to air gordon for making me pay attnetino to fantasy baseball in september  . kig is very knowledgable at the NFL, and conrad still pwns at making jerseys.

anthony15, z50bo- i know these guys mainly through madden. they got me into some pwnage madden leagues (too bad my good computer committed suicide so i had to drop them) anthony15 pretty much pwns at madden while z50 and I have had tough games over a few months. btw ive won 3 straight on EASO  , which unfortuantely doesnt say much about my skill.

pera, phlo- these guys live in europe. pera is cool to talk to on msn, while phlo is known for pwning in nba live. id like to play phlo in live some day and see how much i lose by.

dramacydal, keo, wankster, shadowgrin, drex- these guys make it on the list for being sixers fans. you know the right team to root for and hopefully we will make the playoffs next year.

if i forgot anyone ill try and get you on 2k, which i might make a seperate thread for.

Congratulations man on 1500.

Your one of the few guys maybe a group of five that I really talk on msn from this forum.I remember there were some pretty funny conversations us two had.I would talk to you more often, but I don't really spend much time on msn due to things that happened in my life lately.

Again my congrats and thanks for the shoutout.
