The Letting Off Steam Thread

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

There, listen/watch that and then you can start worrying about more important things rather than a stupid song!

stupid team USA lost...this is fucking outrageous. In this olympic tournament I would have expected Team USA to at least reach the medal round but they tied average teams like Latvia. The thing was , they were challenged all of this tournament. They barely passed round-robin only because latvia lost , and had the worst of luck in playing an undefeated team like Finland. Team USA is starting to become average in sports they should be dominating like basketball and hockey. Now , if Team USA loses in basketball even with Mike Kryzewski and Kobe Bryant I would be EXTREMELY pissed. America needs to step it up and start winning medals in these games they should be winning in again!

I am so angry right now.

Well, International rules have something to do with it. I doubt US Sports team would barely flinch at teh opposition if NBA and NHL rules were followed.

It's hard to do when you really, really like that song because you just want to keep listening to it. At least from my experience

Listening to another song, as suggested, is the best remedy for that ailment.

Or you can destroy the cd its on and delete it from your pc so you wont have to listen to it again. All you have to do then is wait for the memory to fade.

LETTING OFF STEAM:

I am really angry with myself for making a thread stating Kobe Bryant died. Am I an attention whore or something? I realized I shouldnt have done that and I feel 10 years younger as a result. As punishment, I punched myself in the balls 20 times while reading the 10 commandments.

:x not having a good day today....woke up after my alarm & therefore missed the train I was suppose to catch, so I drove my car in....had a splitting headache all day, so I left work at about 2pm....anyways, was driving & out of nowhere, I was being nailed by wheel nuts of a truck....it could be partly my fault I think as I wasn't as alert as I usually would be due to feeling pretty shithouse....truck must not have seen me because my cars so low & he must have just slightly veered across the centre line....it happened so quick....after it happened I pulled over but the truck must have kept on going....checked the damage & went up the road to see if the truck had pulled over, but it hadn't....this is bloody annoying....it's probably $1500 of damage that I'll be out of pocket as was unable to get the details of the truck, so I have to pay the excess ($1650) or get it fixed independently ($1400-$1500)....

ahh well, could be worse I guess....I'm healthy after an alteration with a truck....not good though money-wise, but I'll be fine....I always am....

I guess I shoulda just stayed in bed today :( (N)

Too bad that while you're punching yourself, you broke the 6th commandment 20 times

The X: Damn :( That's shitty. If it'll make you feel a little better, I had to pay a $140 fee for my car being towed since I parked in somebody else's stall because somebody else illegally parked in my girlfriend's stall. :x

I don't get joy out of seeing other people's misery....

doesn't it suck when it seems like one thing in your day changes & then the ripple effect (in this case, a very material one) kicks in....

if I don't think about the money, then I'll be alright....it should only take me 2-3 months to pay off my credit card :|

EDIT: Did I mention there is a huge couple of inch gash that goes for about a foot on my side panel?

Just 20 times? You should punch your balls 100 times at least.

I played basketball for 4 hours yesterday, and my back aches, my shoulders are sore, my calves are always cramped up and my ankle feels like someone just hurled a 200 lb brick at it.

I'm getting too old for basketball.

Alright, i have to let off some steam.

Bryan Colangelo to Toronto. :( The genius who put the Suns in the position they are today just left. He was on a 3 year contract for fuck's sake. What a dis-loyal prick. Ah well, hopefully the Suns are still well off. As long as we don't hire Isiah Thomas we should be okay.

Toronto are gonna get good this offseason.

He wasn't disloyal Nicky. He only had 1 and a half years left in his contract. The upcoming, new Suns management didn't want to give him a contract extension despite what he has done, that's why he left.
Maybe this article will clear some things up.

Ah. I also think that monkeys should be allowed to own weapons of mass destruction. They aren't that far behind us in many ways. Actually, they're probably ahead of a few around here.
