I was just sitting here peacefully listening to PTI and then the roommate next door suddenly out of nowhere blasts some heavy metal which is seriously as loud as fuck...it's seriously shaking the walls I swear to god! Being a sports fanatic I am obsessed with classic rock and sports radio play-by-play so you can tell I'm really not too enthused with heavy metal and today's music.

How am I supposed to fucking watch Seinfeld with this racket? God damn it.

Funny coincidence. Everytime Seinfeld comes on, I start wishing people would blast excessively loud heavy metal music to drown it out.

because I'm too lazy. Eventually it all worked out since he eventually turned it down. I greatly dislike that kind of music though , mainly because it consists of incoherent screaming. I can't even understand what they're saying!

I didn't tell him to turn it down because me and a previous roommate in college feuded about music. He would blast some bass-filled heavy metal which I absolutely hate so I would respond by blasting NBA/ NHL play by play and it went on and on. It was just ugly.

I have the ball at the 3 line, right side. I pass off to a guy a little closer to the middle, still out top, and go down to the post. I try to get position, put my ass into him and push a little, he pushes back, nothing out of the ordinary. GODDAM REF CALLS A GODDAM FOUL ON ME! Wtf? That ain't no foul, and it's my 5th too, so I'm gone. We end up losing by 2, with me on the bench.

While we're on the topic of basketball I was at the Virginia Tech - Georgia Tech game at Blacksburg tonight. It was a hell of a game. It was tied 62 - 62 with 16 seconds left and Georgia Tech was trying to win the game...then from what I saw I thought Georgia Tech had scored and then I hear the crowd just scream in delight , apparently someone on Virginia Tech had been fouled with 0.5 seconds left and had to hit 2 free throws , 1 to win the game. He hit the first and the place basically went crazy...the final score was 63-62 and VT won but that was seriously the best basketball game I have ever seen at Virginia Tech.

I'm taking garlic pills, hot tea, cough syrup, cough drops and gargling salt water... whatever I can to allieviate the cold, and I hate feeling down in the dumps and coughing every 30 seconds. I got so much schoolwork to focus on. I got a party to go to tomorrow and I hope I'll be up for it, otherwise I hope I can recover fast so I can get stuff done over the weekend. [/rant]

As I think I mentioned before on previous threads, I am NOT back to posting, it's just that right now I am in a faster computer. I'll be back home on the 13th or something like that.

The steam part is this: I've got to study a pretty fair amount of Psychology in my vacations, since I've switched courses in the middle of the two year program and basically I'll have to study what was given in a year, in A MONTH. It's really a daunting task, but I consider it a nice challenge.

The BIG steam part is this: Eating some fucking crab or something in Castro, south of my country, I got food poisoning and was throwing up for 3 days straight. The thing is, that place is pretty much isolated from civilization and there were almost no phones and the hospital was very far. Anyways, I drank a glass of water, and 5 minutes later I puked it. was up all night doing that. I felt like SHIT. It was one of the worst things I've experienced in my life.

That would be it, I'll go post now since I'm on a pretty decent comp right now. I'll see you guys.
