Apparently no one likes the police here so i'll review it since im sitting here doing nothing while old home videos convert to DVD...
The Police-Reggatta De Blanc

Message in A Bottle
I'm gonna start by saying I've never really listened to The Police much and without Guitar Hero I wouldnt've heard this song. But I'm glad I did. Its catchy, the lyrics are intelligible and relatable. I dont quite understand the attempt at reggae by sting but other than that: there is nothing I can say bad about this song. A very strong intro track giving me hope for the rest of the album
5/5

Reggatta De Blanc
The Police are keeping the reggae vibe going. I keep waiting for this song to start. It doesnt really get going till about halfway. Why no real lyrics or point to this song? It's over as soon as it gets going. For a title track...what the hell?
2/5

It's Alright For You
Getting a little more punk feel mixed with the reggae vibe on this song. Repetitive song but catchy. The riffs are fun, but nothing too astounding.
3/5

Bring on the Night
Mellowing the album back out. Bring on the night cuz daytime sucks? i like the idea. Stings voice is a little too high squeal for me in this song. Other than that its not bad.
3/5

Deathwish
A full minute for this song to get going. Once again though, a fun song, even if not exactly a revolutionary one. I'm getting thats kinda what this album is.
3/5

Walking on the Moon
I'd actually heard this before and not known it was the Police. More island mellow reggae. Not bad lyrics, not a squealing Sting, and catchy enough.
4/5

On Any Other Day
The other ones are complete bullshit just comes out of nowhere. But I like the almost speaking tone of this song. It doesnt feel like a transition song. Strange Lyrics for a strange group of guys who had a shitty day. I like it though
4/5

The Bed's Too Big Without You
Back to the standard of the rest of the album. However this song bores me. Still better than alot of stuff, this one's just...bleh.
2/5

Contact
Back to the On Any Other Day feel. Not sure I like this, but i dont dislike it either. Right in the middle. I dont really have concrete reasons for it either.
3/5

Does Everyone Stare?
Where in the hell did this song come from? It doesnt fit at all from the piano to the bluesy delivery. The vocals are too quiet...the instruments overpower them completely and thats just not good. Not a bad song...just not something that works here.
2/5

No Time This Time
Back to the punky/ska feel. I cant understand Sting at all though. Horrible ending track to get you all jacked up and then the albums over. Ew.
1/5

Overall: While the overall score combined tracks is a 2.36 average I'd put this album in a higher range. With the exception of Does everyone Stare? it had flow and continuity and each song seemed to be trying to achieve the idea of an album. I'd put this up there 2.5 and 2.75 or so due to that factor. I didnt dislike this album whatsoever, it just other than a few songs didnt stand out for me.

I was going to be the first to review it, but then I got distracted and completely forgot about it. Listened to the first few tracks. Liked Message In A Bottle, but didn't like the rest much. I'll finish/review the rest later.

The Police - Regatta De Blanc

Tue Sep 22, 2009 1:10 pm

For me, this band is a one hit wonder... thinking they’re overrated. Message in a Bottle is alright catchy but too repetitive for me. It seems that the guitar and drums are not sync on the intro of the title track. Good drumming on the middle part towards the end. The punky It’s Alright For You’s chorus is the only understandable lyrics on the song. The guitar parts of Bring on The Night got a Samba texture in it… and it’s the best stuff on the song. Sting’s accent is the flaw. Again, the guitar part on the next track, Deathwish is enjoyable. Bass is kinda repetitive though. Walking on the Moon is boring. Skip! On Any Other Day narrative singing is ok. The Bed’s Too Big Without You kinda drags on… It’s expected, blame the rhythm loop. Sting sounds like Ozzy Osbourne on Contact. Emphasizing the bass line is a good choice on this one. The piano driven and Beatlesque Does Everyone Stare is one of the best track so far for me. There’s nothing grand about No Time This Time but it’s an alright track to close the album. Hmmm… I still do think they’re overrated but this album got some enjoyable track that I’m compensating on removing the “They’re one hit wonder” tag.

Soundgarden - Superunknown

Mon Sep 28, 2009 11:21 pm

As I’ve mentioned before this band should be the one who’s in the pedestal. Shame that Chris Cornell’s into shit stuff nowadays...moving on. The dynamic Let Me Drown starts the album just like how the Big Bang started the universe. The bass lines, the drums, and of course Chris’ voice are monumental...this is just the beginning. Again Cornell showed in My Wave that he’s untouchable in terms of vocal delivery. It’s in the same league as of the first track but much explosive. They slowed down a bit on the poppy Fell On Black Days but they immediately got back to heavy riffing on Mailman. The title track is one hell of a supernova. The bluesy riffs sang along by Chris’ god-like vocals is fucking mind-blowing. One of Soundgarden’s most underrated song. They again slowed down the pace with Head Down this time Chris’ got a different voice timbre. The most popular track in the album, Black Hole Sun drove this album to # 1 on the charts back then. The vocal effect is soothing and every instrument is noticeable. Spoonman’s guitar and drum parts are phenomenal. Chris’s like doing a monologue on Limo Wreck. The riffs are like sequencers on the song’s mood. Everything is epic on The Day I’ve Tried To Live. It’ll leave you vocal chord nodules. The soft to scream vocal transitions and Thayil’s guitar works are addictive. The punky Kickstand is my least favorite on the album, it seems like a filler. It’s like a cover of some obscured band that they use to like. Another Cornell screamer, Fresh Tendrills got that album-closer vibe in it. The dark 4th of July calms the album with it’s dreary vocals and slow tempo guitars. The dual vocals are fantastic. It’s like a split mirror view of the early 90’s Cornell and late grunge era Cornell. They went Ragarock on the filler Half. And finally Like Suicide closes the album just like how it started, but in a different mood. The supergroup of Cornell-Thayil-Cameron-Shepherd is one of the greatest gift grunge had given to all of us. I wish Chris reunites with the other three (they’re doing gigs with Tad nowadays) instead of rubbing elbows with Timbaland. That last album of him is fucking abysmal….

I could not get around to The Police due to stupid real life, but since Pdub couldn't even be bothered to review his album or any of the last few, I'm being a dictator and not punishing for not reviewing it. So you can do Soundgarden or Linkin Park. (Will credit for reviewing the Police of course.) (Oh, and this might be a rule in the future.)

I'd really like that if you do just one of these two, that you also did my At The Drive-In album. Basically, try to do two of the three that are going to be around. And I will look the other way if you do Soundgarden during the ATDI period if you also do ATDI. In other words, you can get a free week, but you have to do two of three albums, since I'm *wink-wink* extending Soundgarden.

Out of this you get a minor cushion and slight more choice, since The Police bombed as bad as a JaoSming suggestion. (And Pdub bombed worse than that.)

I reserve the right to always do shit like this. But if you hate something, let's fucking review it for a group gangbang, those are the most fun reviews, as PhatGeezer proved above. It sucks talking about great stuff, let's get the hate flowing.

Along those lines after we run this cycle, maybe we should do a "WORST ALBUM EVER" just to see how much we can tolerate.

I'll update the chart later this week and repost it.

Re: NMC: THE BEST ALBUM EVER (read page 5)

Alright, to bump this, At The Drive-In - Relationship of Command is the "current album" and Linkin Park - Meteora is also up. While Soundgarden has been given a "wink wink" extension that ends when ATDI does. ATDI is the best album suggested in all six pages so people who review it get secret bonuses.

I will be reviewing all three of these albums this weekend. And people who don't get on board are totally like [insult here] or so I've heard.

And the idea of a "worst album ever" was floated prior, and we may still do it, but for right now, check out Jae's "best worst song ever" thread which is full of great candidates so far. If there's enough interest we'll do a "worst album ever" to follow up this round of "best album ever" before going on with current plans.

I like Linkin Park. Scary I know. I found them at the right time in my teenage years where my angst was best channeled to rap-rock. Stuff like this and Carmageddon kept me going through all the bullshit high school brought. I also had a crazy drugged up ex girlfriend who loved this album....so yeah...on with the show
Foreword[/b]
Have I mentioned I hate intro tracks yet? it serves no purpose. I'm here for music, not for sound effects.
1/5
Don't Stay
Not a bad leadup into cliche classic Linkin Park. Screaming, Loud, no rap in this one, unoriginal yet easily relatable lyrics. Angst driven and pissed off. Not bad
3/5
Somewhere I Belong
The first single from the album is actually the song I had my first kiss to with my ex girlfriend (who was my only stable relationship in high school). I actually like this one. Rhyming Heal with feel and real? Ok not genius but relatable raprock anthem that helped Linkin Park reach a more mainstream audience after In The End. Would be a 3, but I got some to it..so it gets bonus points.
4/5
Lying from You
First time i heard this i thought my cd was skipping. I was 15 cut me some slack. Actually really like this song. Decent enough beat, good enough lyrics (not super cliche, yet relatable), sums up the angst of those people who try to be loners, have quite a few friends who have done it and do it at times myself.
4/5
Hit the Floor
More Angst, short song. A good thing. This is linkin park at their worst, forcing their angst when keeping a concrete tone may have helped this song. Beat is boring, shinoda's lyrics are boring, Chester screaming is the best part of this song.
2/5
Easier to Run
Right when I think they're not gonna cave to critical influence saying they're too hard and not mainstream enough they lay this shit of a song. Cliche lyrics, boring melody. The verses OK, i really dig when chester sings and doesnt scream. Shinoda rapping feels out of place. Definite dip in the album here.
2/5
Faint
Fuck yes. Few songs get me as jacked up as this one. Love this song, the silhouetted video was kickass. The tempo, the lyrics, the chorus (as unoriginal as it is)...just all great and what I love about this band. This is Linkin Park at their best.
5/5
Figure.09
I always forget this song's existence. I play it and remember why. Chester's screaming is the high point again but the cliche lyrics and transitions here dont work. You see it coming from too far away. Linkin Park at their worst for songs they have lyrics in.
2/5
Breaking the Habit
My 2nd favorite Linkin Park song of all time. The only that beats it is paper cut from Hybrid Theory (or the Reanimation version love both). Anyway: yes this song is emo as shit. But I haven't heard angst portrayed this well in a long time. Is it a suicide or anti suicide song? Is the subject the cause or just caught in the middle? This is teenage angst put in an accessible song and broadcasted for the masses, but i believe gives a good portrayal of what it feels like to be locked by yourself in the room mad at the world and not really sure why. Fucking great, one of my favorite songs of all time and the animated video is great. Is all that noise at the end supposed to be breaking glass of a window? who knows? I'll stop raving now.
5/5
From the Inside
After Breaking the Habit, this song is very weak and powerless. I didnt even realize this was on meteora. I had to go redownload it. The chorus isnt catchy, the beat doesnt hook you, and shinoda is barely audible. Eww.
1/5
Nobody's Listening
Back to some power angst anthem. Shinoda rapping acerbically yet with that self deprecating angst that Linkin Parks target audience has. Chester's chorus is awesome. Really like this song. Not perfect but damned good
4/5
Session
I hate LP's instrumental tracks. They dont have the talent to pull it off. They're all boring and put me to sleep and bring the albums down into a slow tempo that doesnt show them at their best. Get this shit off the album
1/5
Numb
This song was much bigger it's second time around with Jay-Z. Overall a cool song to end the album with. Chester sung verses with screamed choruses. Shinoda just providing a backing vocal about undertow. More good summation of angst although i've noticed the people who use songs like this and Pink Floyd Comfortably Numb to describe how they feel are lying and take shit more personal than 90% of people i've met. Not the song's fault though.
4/5

2.76 overall for this. Take out the intro and instrumental track and its my first above 3 review though. As I said, I like Linkin Park, but i dont delude myself about their greatness. I got meteora in april of my junior year of high school and thought it was one of the best. Not so much 6.5 years later but i still enjoy the high points on this album. Unfortunately some weaknesses glare through and force me to hit that skip button giving me about 15 minutes of quality on a 36 minute album.

I played Hybrid Theory to death and back again when I was about 16 or 17 and same with Meteora not long after, so I don't even have to listen to it to review the songs.

Foreward
Meh

Don't Stay
Not one of my favourites but strong in the middle, the little Asian with the turntables is fantastic here too

Somewhere I Belong
Again not a favourite but decent enough. I think the lyrics are a tad too emo for me.

Lying From You
Good song, decent lyrics and Chester kills it vocally.

Hit The Floor
Meh

Easier To Run
Pretty terrible

Faint
I don't like the verses but the chorus more than makes up for it, the back half of this is awesome too.

Figure.09
Can't remember it so it must be pretty terrible.

Breaking The Habit
It grew on me over time but I still don't rate it too much. Doesn't make a great deal of sense lyrically either.

From The Inside
The vocals are good but it's a bit of a nothing song.

Nobody's Listening
Never liked it

Session
Meh

Numb
I like it but it's a bit emo, well a lot emo, on the positive side Chester sounds really good again and musically it's very cool.

Never Heard of these guys...going to dive in and hold benji personally responsible for all of it :P

At the Drive-In Relationship of Command

Arcarsenal
Woah. Not what I expected. Cant Understand a damned word he says. Im digging the backing though. Hard rock is good..but come on, make yourself intelligible.
3/5

Pattern Against User
This is better. Vocals on verses remind me of Zach De La Rocha from RATM. Still barely intelligible but enjoying it well enough. The transitions/tempo changes seem almost random enough to be on purpose...almost...
3/5

One Armed Scissor
Lyrics about amputation always fun. Also makes me think of South Park. Scissor Me timbers!!! Not bad but still not enough to floor me. Maybe i just dont understand technical. Another 3...ending is just sorta odd
3/5

Sleepwalk Capsules
This is all starting to blend together for me. Still solid but i cant tell from track to track which it is.
3/5

Invalid Litter Dept.
Not alot more I can say. THe tempo changes are cool but once again not flooring me. Still solid though.
3/5

Mannequin Republic
This song is fun. Digging the fast tempo to start. Just wish i could understand the singer.
3/5

Enfilade
What the fuck? Creepy beginning. Again solid..but im taking away a point for the mother leopard start. Just give me music your crazy fucks
2/5

Rolodex Propaganda
Going downhill fast. This one's just not as good as the first half of the album was
2/5

Quarantined
Little better. Intelligible. May have liked it more earlier in the album though. Still solid.
3/5

Cosmonaut
Still solid but im getting bored. Not bored enough though.
3/5

Non-Zero Possibility
Nothing else to say
3/5

Catacombs
Come on give me a strong closing track. Hit me..hit me hard...Start is good. and not so much on the rest. Once again just solid. but nothing stood out.
3/5

So overall a solid album. I couldnt understand 95% of the lyrics but I still enjoyed it. Averaged together about a 2.8. Glad they dont waste their time with useless intro tracks. Music...what I came here for. Kickass. Gonna explore rest of their catalog later.

At The Drive In - Relationship Of Command

I hate prog-rock, thus why I'm not a Mars Volta fan. I do enjoy a couple of songs on Deloused, but it really just isn't my thing. Another genre I dislike is emo music. With that said I expected this album to be like nails on the chalkboard. While I didn't particularly like the album, it was definitely preferable to anything spin-off band, the aforementioned Mars Volta had released.

Most of the album sounds more like RATM than the Mars Volta to me. First couple tracks I didn't really care for, but "One Armed Scissor" was surprisingly catchy. No surprise its their biggest hit, as it is by far the most accessible, and in my opinion, best track on the album. Next few tracks see the band trying to, more or less, replicate the One Armed Scissor sound, and it works alright I suppose. The lyrics are largely unintelligible, which is perhaps a positive, as they all seem to be about stupid hard rock shit like physical pain.

The album sort of goes through the motions into the second half. Aside of One Armed Scissor, I couldn't really identify any of the other tracks. I was playing a game while I was listening, so that may have been a part of it, but overall the album wasn't pleasant enough to warrant a repeat listen. The music overall seemed like a second-rate Rage Against The Machine. I guess I can see the appeal if you are into this kind of music, but its not my thing.

I feel the rating system of averaging all the scores is a very poor one. I view an album as its own entity, and not just a dozen or so tracks thrown together. The album is far from the best ever, certainly no OK Computer, and certainly not a landmark in recent music history, but is a solid hard rock album built around a great single. Not my cup of tea, but admirable in terms of experimentation and musicianship.

Rating: 5.4/10 (Average) - Favorite Track: "One Armed Scissor

These are historic albums in many respects, the mini supernova or say a bay where pirates gather will have it easily.

At The Drive-In - Relationship of Command

I like this and I like Kelly Clarkston's last, stereotype me at your doom.

Arcarsenal starts by luring you into a false sense of security before saying FUCK YOU I'M AN ANTEATER and identify who among those who listen are preteen girls who can't handle a real man. Lyrics are a postmodern critique of the stupidity of lyrics outside delivery and Cedric has built a career on proving this exact point. (Then again, I've memorized them due to listening to this album so many times.) Forget the words, lose yourself in the awesome. Pattern Against User does use random changes, and that's the point. One Armed Scissor is the biggest hit, and brings BigKaboom to his knees with the awesome, even though it's not even the best song on the album just a 4:20 sample of the awesome that is ATDI. Sleepwalk Capsules is totally backed with some epic Jim Ward. Invalid Litter Dept. is their other most popular as this is where the genesis of The Mars Volta begins and it invades the rest of the album. As I much want to hate it, after 4:45 it violates your mother. Mannequin Republic essentially gives a hardcore ending for the old ATDI if not for a weird track order on the backhalf.

We kick off the second half with Enfilade, which is simply fucking awesome and one of the great songs of all time. Yeah, the phone call is cheesy, but don't hate on Iggy Pop. This song combines dark heavy with fucking epic pop chorus and features some of the only lyrics in ATDI history that are obviously related to the song topic. The lack of attention this song gets is a travesty. One of the best choruses in the history of choruses. It's really a get well incentive for life in general. Unconsious, tied and gagged. Rolodex Propaganda is actually kind of hurt by Iggy Pop in the call and reply which is a weak point on the backhalf, but his backing vocals instead of Jim Ward are good enough, and the song is short enough. Quarantined is where they finally, after hinting during Enfilade and Invalid Litter Dept. fully kick things up a notch and do what ATDI has never done. You could argue they're gettin away from ATDI since it's so different, but it's epic enough, and Jim Ward just kills it on this.

Cosmonaut is misplaced but at the same time is perfectly placed, as it's the last hurrah of the ATDI that brings us back to Acrobatic Tenement or Hell Paso. And many ways serves as the farewill trip to that band. It was clear there were two distinct interests who were in a tug of war for the band, and while that produced some epic music while doing much to mature the sound, it couldn't last. So Cosmonaut is getting the last ATDI out of their system. And then there's Non-Zero Possibility, which is nothing like any other ATDI song, and as such is beautiful instead of epic awesome. Cedric owns all over this and shows where he was headed with Omar in The Mars Volta, while Jim Ward lays down the Sparta path. The song is simply incredible, and I want it played at the last dance for my sweet sixteen.

Since illini reviewed Catacombs, which is not on the original print of the album but on the re-release, (I have both of course) I'll review the two tracks on the reprint (the torrents don't seem to have the other track for whatever reason, probably because it's not from the RoC sessions but the prior album) but anyway. Extracurricular is entirely old ATDI, just tons of awesome that you don't think about and just delivers you epic over and over and you don't care. Catacombs is kinda fun, but as many b-sides is a song that's like two changes from being an epic album track. They're clearly playing around here with contrasts as almost all their songs are, but the verses aren't fleshed out enough in a way that dominates everything.

5/5 - Classic. What did you expect? Listen to the whole damn album.
One of my favorite for sure, almost flawless in my world.

We disagree on a lot, but this is not one of them.

Linkin Park - Meteora

Let's open with the fact that I do like Hybrid Theory. And that Reanimation is one of my great albums, and think it should have been the first album and also the future of the band. The latter half of that album is fantastic.

Don't open with a forward, it's stupid. If you want to, tack it onto the first "true" track. Don't Stay sucks. Somewhere I Belong is the first actual track in my opinion as it's the first that incorperates every member of Linkin Park and delivers what people actually want from them. Give Mike Shinoda the verses, and amp it up as Chester takes up the vocals. (And Shinoda chimes in on the choruses for no clear reason. And Chester backs up the verses randomly as well. And you turn the song over to Chester as it finishes.) That's the Linkin Park we know and love. The band that has some strange otherworld knowledge of crafting pop-rock songs. (See: Hybrid Theory.) Lying From You is pretty good, I used to hate it but really both Mike and Chester deliver on vocals, in all honestly it's a good rap song. You can't pay attention to Linkin Park lyrics because they suck, but both Mike and Chester know how to deliver a lyric. I'm down with Lying From You these days. Hit The Floor sucks worse than Don't Stay. I gotta disagree with illini and jae on Easier To Run, this is a solid song. But it's Chester's chorus that sucks. Chester sucks outside the bridge which he nails, Mike fucking kills it with his parts and Chester backing, it's one of those songs that I like but hate because the choruses are so shitty.

Faint is fucking epic. Real men enjoy this song. The electronic sound (made to modify a violin last I knew) whatever it is over the entire non-chorus part of the song is one of the best things they've ever done,/ and the chorus just kicks it up to eleven. Figure.09 is good enough as it ends in the last 45 seconds or so, but otherwise GTFO. Breaking The Habit is fucking great, and I've only grown to love it over the years after not caring about it. Fuck, Linkin Park should have gone more towards this direction that the absolute shit they produced with the next album where the best track wasn't even on the album and was an "exclusive bonus track." (It's kinda why I'm hoping whenever Chester gets around to releasing his "solo" (with everyone in the world) album it's good, because it'd likely be like this.) From The Inside is probably actually the heaviest song on this but outside of Shinoda, is kinda boring, Chester tries to kick it up during the end. I like Nobody's Listening along with Session and I've always liked the Mr. Hahn tracks (of which both are, and I should note last I knew they were him alone) as he does beats quite well. Cure for the Itch was a better idea though. They gave him two tracks, I like them, but, you know.

Numb on the other hand, is an incredible song. This is the best Chester ever is. He was never better before, and has never topped it since. This song is the only evidence needed that this guy is awesome but is probably wasting his voice. The last part of the song is just too much.

4/5 - Very Good. (I'm giving it this because I haven't heard it in years thus got on board, and I clicked through Minutes to Midnight and I can't believe how terrible it is, so I gave them pity points, 3/5 - Good in reality probably.)

Soundgarden - Superunknown

I'm not going to do a big Superunknown review. But still, this was so much better than a lot of things suggested so far. I'm always up and down on Chris Cornell, and he certainly delivered that here. I didn't mind this all that much, but it was really an album like others earlier where I thought it was just kind of too long. Because many of the tracks delivered all I would get in three minutes, but suddenly became six minutes or something. That's really the major complaint, otherwise it delivered what I expected since I actually listened to quite a bit Soundgarden back in the day. I was always kind of more of a badmotorfinger guy but that was over a decade ago now.

3/5 - Good.

It's a guitar sound one of them was making, recorded, reversed and sped up. I saw it somewhere but I have no idea where or why I was watching it.

At The Drive-In - Relationship Of Command

Arcarsenal:
I like the frantic nature of the music, reminds me of one of my favourite bands Protest The Hero. The vocals are dominant which is cool, and the way the lyrics are delivered sounds great. Cool song.

Pattern Against User:
The very beginning of this, musically, you can hear where a lot of hardcore/metalcore bands have taken inspiration. I think this song would've been great if it was heavier and a bit faster but I still enjoyed it.

One Armed Scissor:
Prior to this review this was the only ATDI song I'd heard and I thought it was great then, if anything I like it more now. Good headbanging music.

Sleepwalk Capsules:
I love the vocal delivery in this band, my biggest gripe with any band is when they do songs that just blend into the background and that's the exact opposite of this.

Invalid Litter Department:
Shit, didn't enjoy it at all.

Mannequin Republic:
Back to form thankfully. I'm not too keen on how it goes from 100 to 0 around 0:45 but it picks up again after a while. Lacks the catchiness of the previous songs.

Enfilade:
Amazing song, can't say enough about it. I actually like it more than One Armed Scissor, and it's currently being played to death in MediaMonkey. Iggy Pop ftw also.

Rolodex Propaganda:
Hard to live up to Enfilade and this falls flat a bit, it's not bad and there's so many different influences but probably badly placed considering what it's following on the tracklist.

Quarantined:
Takes a long time for this to get going, when it does it's cool but it then goes back out again and takes forever to come back. It goes for 5:26, could've shortened it down significantly to make it better IMO.

Cosmonaut:
Pretty much the opposite, action starts straight away. After a couple of songs I didn't really like this is a nice way to come back. Little bit repetitive but not enough to bother me.

Non-Zero Possibility:
Completely different sort of song but I like it. The piano is cool because I'm fairly certain I could play it, and the singer goes from sort of manic shouting in Cosmonaut to singing and does it well.

Extracurricular:
Another shift in an entirely different direction. This for me fades a little into the background, doesn't stand out a great deal but it's still a good song. I think I liked it more when I first heard it than my second listen though.

Catacombs:
First time I think I've heard a repeating guitar riff... or whatever it is. The vocals seem a little drowned out but I like the screaming a lot. I like it a whole lot more than Extracurricular, if the vocals weren't being drowned out this would probably be top 4 for me on the album.

Overall: 84%

Top Favourites:
One Armed Scissor, Enfilade, Non-Zero Possibility

Negative Motive:
Invalid Litter Department, QUarantined

I want to hop back in this if possible.. Will be fully commited, you guys can skip my turn if you want for punishment, I understand. Let me know if I'm allowed to come back, thanks.

And if I am allowed back in my album (for the next time up) is Chronic Future - Lines in my face.
