I am the king of sleep problems. Here is my sleep pattern from this week:

Monday - 5am - 11am
Tuesday - 3am - 2pm
Wednesday - 6am - 9am
Thursday - 3am - 1pm
Friday - it's my mum's birthday tomorrow and the first time I've been online in a year so I'm probably looking at 7am - 10am

My secret is just to grin and bare it. If I have to get up early for work or appointments or whatever I do it. I read somewhere that everyone has an emotional response to certain times of the day, and for me for some reason I really enjoy the time between 12-4am so I tend to be awake then pretty often. The only shit thing about it is that my friends are generally asleep by 10pm on weeknights so when we go out they're fucked by 1 or 2, thus ending my night early.

I have two serious suggestions:

#1- See a doctor. You could have sleep apnea, which can cause you to wake up in the night, and can be very dangerous (potentially fatal). It's very easy to find out if you have it, you can just do an overnight sleep study. It's basically sleeping in a hotel-like room while somebody monitors you.

#2- Try a product in the vitamin section called "Melatonin". It is completely natural and safe, it is actually the same thing your body produces to fall asleep and stay asleep. The time you're waking up indicates you might be having some problems with your Melatonin production. I had trouble sleeping for years, tossed and turned all night, woke up- couldn't get back to sleep. I take 6-7mgs of Melatonin 20 minutes before bedtime now, and sleep like a log.

And now, a a not-so-serious, but valid, suggestion:

Jack off in bed.

Write your problems in a sheet of paper before you go to sleep .
Take a bath , Sleep in a cool place , Put on socks if your feet are cold .
Drink milk , listen to Classical Music and yeah sleep in a soft bed and be comfortable as much as possible .

Edit :
Don't drink any liquids that contains caffeine and any energy boosters 6 hours before you sleep .

I'm being totally serious here- I really wonder if he was doing that on purpose (in the drunk one), trying to look like the other picture.

I don't know, with all the derailing it's kind of entertaining.
