Even though it's kind of stupid, the situation has an update. I've decided I'm going to wrestle... but the thing is, I can't let my friend have the "glory" of making the basketball team. I sound like a selfish asshole when I say that, but my friend has a history. He's a cool guy, but he can be way overconfident at things. It's a bonafide fact that if I decide to wrestle and he joins the team, he'll tell all his friends that he made the team and completely downplay/ignore the fact that he didn't really make it, and if he plays in any games I won't hear the end of "Oh, I didn't score but I had 2 rebounds and a sick block on this guy!" He's a great friend, but he has a fucking retarded attitude sometimes.
