The NBA is investigating a security breach at American Airlines Center that allowed two female fans to walk into the Portland Trail Blazers' huddle during Saturday's game, The Oregonian reports.

According to the newspaper, two fans walked onto the court and into the Blazers' team huddle with 41 seconds remaining in Portland's win over the Dallas Mavericks. One of the women reportedly wrapped her arms around Portland guard Rudy Fernandez from behind before they were ushered away.

A league spokesperson said the league is investigating the incident.

"We're looking into exactly what happened," NBA vice president of basketball communications Tim Frank wrote in an e-mail to the newspaper.

The Oregonian reported that the women, whom Portland guard Jerryd Bayless said appeared to be "drunk," were allowed to return to their seats.

I'm guessing had it been a couple of drunk guys who wandered onto the court, they would've been escorted from the building.

Agreed, I'm sick of the double standards rife throughout society. If a father kills his child, he's locked up for life. If a mother kills her child, it must be stress or by accident, so she'll get a suspended sentence & not serve anytime. Disgraceful (N)

We do have some strange ideas about equality. Of course, I do believe that the "Violence against women: Australia says No" campaign has noble intentions, I think that any man who commits rape or beats his wife cannot be called a man and deserves to get his arse kicked. I think footy players have gotten away with treating women terribly under the notion that "boys will be boys", "they're just being lads" and similar sentiments and that's just wrong. Having said that, it's ridiculous to gloss over other acts of violence such as an AFL player assaulting a male taxi driver or a woman assaulting a man (perhaps a less frequent occurrence, but it certainly does happen) or treat them as lesser wrongs. All forms of assault should be treated as a serious matter, with serious consequences no matter the parties involved.

Agreeing with all of you on every word. Even Beckham's latest incident with female reporter. That was basically a sexual harrasment.

I guess it's a culture that most of nations share.

Yeah no question, a definite double standard. Still, this part is kind of funny:

The 34-year-old gave the reporter a cold look before she was taken away by his security detail.

"David you have conned us all!," she shouted. "What did you use? Cotton wool? It's all a trick."

-yeah, so?
-well how about we trade, we'll give you K.B. and You give us Pau Gasol?
-wow really? OK i'm in, where do I sign?
-here, here and here.
-gosh i'm so happy i'm not even going to read the contract

Not only that, but he could land the Pistons Amar'e Stoudemire. And here we all were thinking he was a bust!

I know everybody has probably seen these, but always great to see MJ's great moments re-created in a computer game.

As laughable as those games are by today's standards, I have to agree I wouldn't mind playing them just to say that I have. Like the AVGN said, a lot of imagination is required for those games.

I know what you mean, there's a curiosity to find out just how bad they are for yourself after watching his reviews. Same sort of thing with the Nostalgia Critic at times.
