So Wednesday night we got a wicked storm and it knocked out power and cause a state of emergency in my county. So I returned my cable box/internet modem cause they said the power wouldnt be back till Saturday. Well they got it back to us last night.

But whatever, last day of work today, moving after. See you guys sometime next week.

Strange. I had a thunderstorm two nights ago and internet and cable was down until this morning. They said that 70% of their customers in the Charlotte area was w/o cable. I was sad to see the Suns are eliminated.

Nothing strange about thunderstorms wrecking havoc to (above ground) cable connections.

The thunderstorm itself was strange: One gigantic clap of thunder with blinding light and then it's all gone for about 20 minutes and then it repeated about five or six times. The last one I thought I could actually see light inside my monitor and I just flipped the switch on the power of my computer cuz i thought my computer had got struck by lightning. It scared the crap out of me, but it wasn't hit. I think it was bright enough to actually have reflected off the wall and I could see it in the screen. That last one was when my internet died and then my mom said the cable had died too. The cable guy answering the phone gave us a load of crap: when we asked how long it would be before we got our cable/internet back, he said 90 minutes. It took a day and a half.

Well, there's another wacky thunderstorm today. Expect me to be offline for a couple days. lol

Today thunderstorms woke me up at 2 in the morning. It's perfectly sunny right now and they're calling for strong storms tonight AGAIN, and so on til the weekend. There's been storm every night this week! The weather is becoming as bipolar as my computer programming teacher but ten times more predictable.
EDIT: (less than an hour later:
I go out to play some b-ball cuz it was sunny as anything and immediately a cloud pops out of fuckin' nowhere and it starts to rain and there are thunderstorms again and I look outside as I'm typing this and it's unbelievable: there's probably 1/4" of rain on the ground right now and it started to rain like five fucking minutes ago. Where the fuck did that come from?!?!?!?

Holy shit the weather is starting to piss me off.
and btw: my internet doesn't go out every time there's a t'storm: I was just exaggerating. LOL but it happens way more often than it would if our cables were UNDERGROUND.

Back from Vancouver. It was raining every day there, unfortunately. Nice looking city. I would have liked a couple more days there.
