But it's March Madness, so it's all about College Hoops 2k8.

Nice job!!That's something we Greek aren't going to see in the near future
Got Brotherhood on PC 3 days ago.Seems like a real fun.Reminds me lot of the ACII,but it's still a solid game and a nice experience. And just like in the previous games,I love the environment.Great graphics to show you Rome and the other Italian areas pretty realistic! Going to stick some time with it,that's a reason I've not updated my Association yet

Been playing Dissidia 012 and I can say that it is a pretty good fighting game with a great story. I also picked up Final Fantasy 9.

Got it now too. Can't say anything bad about it for now since it's AC2.5. Though in some cutscenes, several models obstruct the scene for a half-second then disappear.

Still Fallout: New Vegas and an NBA Live 06 Dynasty for me. I've almost got all of the achievements for New Vegas; just have to play through Dead Money again (for some reason, I didn't get one of the quest related achievements when I completed it before) and figure out how to win at Caravan.

I wish I could play the vanilla Live PCs again and enjoy it, each time I load up the game everything I "could do" to it ruins it for me. Same thing is starting to happen with 2K11 too.
I've been slowly plugging though Crysis 2 as I've gotten the no melee and various story glitches stopping my progress (elevators wont move, cant open a door, etc etc) Their modding community just went underground too, evidently they aren't allowed to mod Crysis 2 legally (huh?) so I've been messing with that.
....what a shit storm, but the gameplay is really fun and worth it.

Just finished Assassin's Creed Brotherhood on PC, great game but once again terrible ending.
Also just received Call of Duty Black Ops since I finally managed to pick it up for cheap, and I can't wait to unlock my pre-loaded Portal 2 tomorrow.

Just got to the part where you first recruit citizens to the Brotherhood. The Full Synch challenge per mission is a good add-on but I guess the "8-minute exploration challenge" of the Romulus ruins is a bit overkill. It's actually asking you to do a perfect speedrun.
And an announcement about the next Assassin's Creed will come out on May I think. Probably they'll switch back to Altair.

I'm going to play through Portal 1 before my copy of Portal 2 comes today
Wed Apr 20, 2011 11:03 am
Unlocking my Portal 2 right now. I forgot that decrypting a pre-loaded copy on Steam took so damn long...
Wed Apr 20, 2011 11:13 am
That's why you leave Steam running, it would have decrypted at midnight.

Just played 10 min of Portal 2 and already I know I'm gonna be addicted to it. It looks kinda dated (I guess there wasn't any real overhaul of the Source Engine), but it's absolutely hilarious from the very beginning. The Valve guys are just freaking brilliant.

wait till the ending, hoooooly shat
I am one happy bastard. My ass hurts from playing that start to finish (need a new chair) but goddamn that was so much fun and entertaining.

Did you get 100% completion on ACB, badman?

Nah, I was trying to complete as many missions as possible, I found all the treasure chests, I renovated all of Rome, I got all the "Truth" enigmas and the Romulus armor, but I didn't get all the Borgia flags or the thieves/courtesans missions or the assassination missions...

So much for playing a game named
Assassin's Creed.

Some of them have ridiculous conditions in it, shadow. Like "kill your target from the bench without being detected," then your target passes by with his personal guard - pressing auto target will lock onto your target, a few milliseconds later the auto target moves to his guard so when you hit "Assassinate", not only you hit the wrong guy you're also detected by your target.
The addition of the Assassin Recruits kinda made the game easier, though.
Thu Apr 21, 2011 5:58 pm
Ridiculous killing conditions? You dare play and imagine yourself as 'assassins' ? You're an embarrassment to the creed.

You know, I rarely used them. Maybe just a couple of times in sticky situations, but overall I was doing all the slaughtering myself. I got 5 of them to the rank of assassins, but I thought it was kind of pointless to keep getting the same side missions over and over for them to gain experience points...

Ditto. Some missions that have "infinite soldiers" provide use for the recruits. I always assign them on outside contracts.

I have no training on the Animus. My weight shows why.

Portal 2 is just ridiculously cool. Everything about this game is awesome.
Fri Apr 22, 2011 4:40 am
Agreed. Valve does it again. Only like an hour in, but it's fucking awesome
