Agreed, Mariah is very talented but has become a guest artist to all the crummy rappers.

I think it's just that she's more of an Rn'B artists nowadays.
A music genre that very often gets combined with Hiphop.

Adding to that, she's VERRY short and has gained quite the number of pounds since the SonyMan dumped her. But she does have a great voice.

Well she's far from fat or even thick(referring to the "we belong 2gether" video).

Nah, she is on the pudgey side, Beyonce isn't anorexic, but she's not fat either. To say Carey isn't pudgey is kind of not too correct. (Hehe, fuck diplomacy, it's not right.)

I don't like any of them, all female artists who dance should be shot or banned from music. Same goes for Madonna and her horrific fake English accent. I'd so kill her if I ever got the chance

Have you seen his incredible drum solo when they played live in Tokyo 92? I doubt that Adler could perform something like that.

I've seen him drum solo live... .. You should get your hands on some gnr bootlegs from the late 80's.. Adler did solos too..

You both should see Neil Peart's drum solos, he's by far the best drummer in the world. Not mentioning he plays in the greatest band in the world.

Add Avril Lavigne and Michelle Branch into that list, the sad part about them is how they try to be different but still come on Maxim and still sing bubble gum lyrics. Now Kelly Clarkson is trying to clone them by doing more rock oriented music, trying to make it look like they grew up as rebels and haters of the same ol same ol theme.

Id keep Alanis, although she does dance in one or two of her videos(not sexually) and appear nude in one shes prolly the best female artist in terms of music. (y)

Agree on Alanis, I actually respect the music she puts out.

I miss people like Janis Joplin.. ugly as all hell, but more talented then any other typical female singer out these days.

This is my song that describes me best and honestly, it doesn't

I woke up this morning with a bad hangover
And my penis was missing again.
This happens all the time.
It's detachable.

[background singing begins: "detachable penis" over and over]

This comes in handy a lot of the time.
I can leave it home, when I think it's gonna get me in trouble,
or I can rent it out, when I don't need it.
But now and then I go to a party, get drunk,
and the next morning I can't for the life of me
remember what I did with it.
First I looked around my apartment, and I couldn't find it.
So I called up the place where the party was,
they hadn't seen it either.
I asked them to check the medicine cabinet
'cause for some reason I leave it there sometimes
But not this time.
So I told them if it pops up to let me know.
I called a few people who were at the party,
but they were no help either.
I was starting to get desperate.
I really don't like being without my penis for too long.
It makes me feel like less of a man,
and I really hate having to sit down every time I take a leak.
After a few hours of searching the house,
and calling everyone I could think of,
I was starting to get very depressed,
so I went to the Kiev, and ate breakfast.
Then, as I walked down Second Avenue towards St. Mark's Place,
where all those people sell used books and other junk on the street,
I saw my penis lying on a blanket
next to a broken toaster oven.
Some guy was selling it.
I had to buy it off him.
He wanted twenty-two bucks, but I talked him down to seventeen.
I took it home, washed it off,
and put it back on. I was happy again. Complete.
People sometimes tell me I should get it permanently attached,
but I don't know.
Even though sometimes it's a pain in the ass,
I like having a detachable penis.

[background voices continue to sing "detachable penis" for
a while, then out]

Yup, Kelly Johnsen is an LA underground musician who has some amazing and I mean amazing songs but she got rejected by like five different record labels, obviously because she doesnt fulfill the sex appeal aspect of the company. I would compare her to the female equivalent of Dave Matthews in terms of talent and pure brilliance but as for her looks well its a different story. I wont say unfortunate because the only unfortunate part is how curvy sluts with no damn vocal chords or talent can become billionaires over night and create such a large following of fans, human culture is so weird most of the time.

The only albums of female artists I have are of Alanis and Kelly, I think my mom has some Janis Joplin but I never listen to her records. Any particular tracks of Janis you recommend I have a listen to Jae?

Here's just a few...

Cry Baby
Mercedes Benz
Piece Of My Heart
Try (Just A Little Bit Harder)

I think she's basically what Pink was trying to be before she gave up and decided she'd just be a pop singer once and for all.
