Add Avril Lavigne and Michelle Branch into that list, the sad part about them is how they try to be different but still come on Maxim and still sing bubble gum lyrics. Now Kelly Clarkson is trying to clone them by doing more rock oriented music, trying to make it look like they grew up as rebels and haters of the same ol same ol theme.

Id keep Alanis, although she does dance in one or two of her videos(not sexually) and appear nude in one shes prolly the best female artist in terms of music.

Yup, Kelly Johnsen is an LA underground musician who has some amazing and I mean amazing songs but she got rejected by like five different record labels, obviously because she doesnt fulfill the sex appeal aspect of the company. I would compare her to the female equivalent of Dave Matthews in terms of talent and pure brilliance but as for her looks well its a different story.
